Really enjoyed this hotel/location. Has a person in a wheelchair. Originally when I booked the room they did not hear that I needed a w/c accessible room. I called hotel to confirm this is what I booked, and found out it was not. At this time they were having an issue w/ the a/c being frozen and didn't know if i could get w/ c accessible room. Later I received a called stating the A/C was fixed and the room was saved for me!! I would of like to of seen a little more room in between beds to get w/c in there. Shower had a fold down shower chair!! Would of like to seen arm rest to assure safety. Hotel lounge was great! Food was amazing, as was the bartender. I would recommended this hotel. The pool does have a hoyer to lower someone in a wheelchair in, this is an amazing device that you don't see many hotels have!!

Very disappointed in the condition of this hotel . carpeting,beds,rooms, elevators,all need upgrades . Would not stay there again .

Every single staff member at this older but nicely renovated property seems to go out of their way to make your stay a good one. The hotel is clean, quiet, well maintained, and friendly. Complementary coffee in the morning, lemonade in the afternoon, a simple little café and lounge good tv selection, good free wireless internet, and comfortable beds and chairs. I don't need much more in a hotel.

We were very impressed with the facility. The manager, Bret, was extremely polite and accommodating and went out of his way to take care of us. In addition, when we inadvertently left something behind he tracked it down and promised to ship it home to us.

Well, all I can say is that this is not one of the better HI hotels. They said that it had been renovated about 2 years ago, but it didn't look or feel like it. There was no signage at the street to indicate where to turn into the hotel for starters. The only signage was on the hotel where it faced the highway. NOT helpful. The room and hallways all felt and looked dated. They even had a piece of wood in the balcony sliding door to hold it closed. Really? In addition, the air conditioning unit was loud as could be when it came on and went off, leading me to wake up about every time it cycled. Would've been nice to have a constant running type of fan on this thing so I didn't hear all that noise. Wow. The only positive I'll give this property is that the employees at the front desk were super-nice and tried their best. Very professional and friendly indeed.

Great place to stay. Thanks to Donato for the extra help and the first time I received a room upgrade with IHG hotels. I've been a platinum member for years and this is the first time I've actually been upgraded.

We have stay here several times and it is our hotel of choice when we are in town for a Blues game. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good location to the Hill and other area attractions.

I visit St. Louis several times each year for business/pleasure trips and this is my first choice for a place to stay. The friendly staff is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and access to the places I go easy. There are conveniences near the hotel, parking is free, internet is free, and in winter there is hot chocolate mix in the lobby and in warm weather, lemonade. Small restruant is simple but good fore a light evening meal. No fridge in the room so ask for a room on a floor with an ice machine. When the weather is nice, small balcony to enjoy being outside. Bathrooms are a bit small but functional. They have upgraded to all the new Holiday inn bedding, linnes, and such. Nearby the Science Center, Zoo, Forest Park, the MUNY, and SLU. Wash U. and the medical centers are easy to reach and downtown is only a few minutes away.

There were several areas that were lacking from a housekeeping standpoint.
1) one night wastebasket in bathroom was not emptied
2) ice bucket not emptied and cleaned, still had melted water in it from the night before
3) floors not vacuumed during entire stay
4) no drinking cups in room
5) coffee bar not replenished daily

Everything was very clean and the people working there were great and very polite. Would recomend to anyone wanting to stay in that area, it is great.
Will be staying there again later this month.

Was disappointed in this hotel. My past experience with Holiday Inn has always been positive. The elevators appeared to be in need of replacement, was expecting a Continental Breakfast, which they did not have, for the price I was expecting more.

I have stayed at nicer Holiday Inns. It was easily seen from interstate but a little confusing getting to entrance. Used points for a one night stay after Cardinal game.

Not the best place, but not bad either. Cost was significantly less than new place across the street which was overtly high priced.
Upon checkin though, the staff was great. On the second night the restaurant and bar staff remembered my name and treated me very well. Anything I needed was immediately taken care of. I would stay again only for the staff and locatoni. The rooms need remodeling and new HVAC equipment that is more comfortable and quiet.
