Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Location is central I stayed from 20-24 Feb. overall happy with accommodation its a little more expensive than previous stays and the Upgrade was to a similar room,maybe even smaller than the last time I stayed,so Wasn't an Upgrade. Other than building points for free stay the member card has no effect on way treated or room supplied. Gym facilities and equiptment seems to be getting tired and requiring some new apparatus February 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Holiday Inn Darling Harbour Hello Holiday Inn team Vikki and I spent a lovely four nights at your Darling Harbour Hotel. The stay as usual was excellent. Staff and management looked after us extremely well and nothing was a problem for all the team. We celebrated our 40th Wedding anniversary that weekend and were also very pleased to find a gift of a great bottle of bubbly and a plate of chocolate dipped strawberries. The IHG group has to be the best hotel corporation around. Always happy to stay there. Thanks so much for a great long weekend. February 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the centre of Sydney Overall it was great. Negatives were the dry bread like croissants and lack of decent eggs for Breakfast and the grout in the bathrooms was in need of a good clean. In every other respect the room was very clean and fresh, and Breakfast could be had nearby. I would definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Darling Harbour and will use it again myself, better is not easy to find at a reasonable price in Sydney. February 22, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A very disappointing stay The Property needs a solid revamp. Our room had a dangling lamp stand, a toilet that made a strident noise each time we flushed it and the view was miserable due to the state of dirtiness of the windows and external blinds. The bed was comfortable though. Staff were nice. Another stay where there was no recognition for my Platinum Elite status. No room upgrade, welcome drink or welcome points, etc.just the basics, late check out and free internet (but that was for everyone). February 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wake up feeling on top of the world Wonderful service from the moment we walked in. Given a great room, and we could walk one minute to see Paul Simon and Sting - perfect! Superb bed, and as nice as it was to wake up on Valentine's Day in such great surroundings, the superb night's sleep may have been even better. It meant waking up feeling on top of the world. They lost a star on the food because there was no spaghetti to put on my toast when I went through in the morning! Everything else was fantastic. February 17, 2015
