Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Downtown Views and the Boulder Grill are Worth the Trip!! I stay here often--every other week to multiple weeks in a row. The rooms are super clean, the beds are very proper, and the common areas are clean, as well. The best part about this hotel, other than the beautiful views of Tulsa's Art Deco architecture, the painstakingly prepared food, and the cleanliness, is the Boulder Grill staff. I am an IHG Platinum member, have stayed in many dozens of IHG assets around the country, and prefer none to the Tulsa Downtown at 7th Street. The food far exceeds anything I've experienced in a Holiday Inn and the hospitality up front keeps me coming back. Centered around seasoned bar-managing guru Elizabeth is a staff you can count on seeing week after week. You are only a stranger in the Boulder Grill, once! Elizabeth is a professional bartending institution. Many people stay at this hotel just to participate in the repartee with Elizabeth, and look forward to seeing her, stay after stay. John and Jacelyn are perennially cheerful supporting roles to Elizabeth's perpetual star power. Past the views, food and cleanliness, what makes this place special is Elizabeth and the supporting cast of Boulder Grill characters. May God forbid the day Elizabeth isn't here because the ring and the cheer will never be duplicated!! If you are contemplating multiple venues when visiting Tulsa, don't discount this hotel because of it's relative affordability--the rooms and food are affordable but the staff is priceless. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable bed. The only problem was when I needed to ask the front desk clerk a question regarding my bill. He was waiting on another customer. I stood in line for more than 10 minutes and he never acknowledge that I was standing there. The customer was having trouble with her credit cards clearing. The clerk should have acknowledged those in line stating He would be with them as soon as possible, or called someone to work specifically with the lady or the people in line. February 19, 2015
