Our check in started off a little rocky because the king suite we were assigned to only had a king bed. It was a very strange room with lots of space but no pull out couch, no couch at all. Only one tv and a big empty space. So, we had to wait until another room was ready. This all happened around 5pm. The redeeming part of this review is that the manager was extra helpful and gave us vouchers to the restaurant for drinks and appetizers. He was very nice and apologized while explaining that they were busier than usual and many people were waiting for rooms hours after check in should have started. So, not sure whose fault that was, but the manager made it more pleasant by offering vouchers and a sincere apology for the delay. Then, things really bumped up a notch when we visited the restaurant. Our waitress, Jami, was one of the sweetest waitresses we've ever had. She was so personable and helpful and attentive. Cannot say enough good things about her. She epitomizes what customer service should be about. I should also mention the staff at breakfast. They were also so helpful and our waitress kept offering to refill my soda, which was so thoughtful. I didn't' get her name but she was also amazing. So, I went away from this experience at the Holiday Inn with a renewed belief that good customer service does exist. For that, I would give this hotel a high rating. Good job Holiday Inn Tulsa City Center!!!

Had another great stay at this HI! Will be back soon. Jordan at the front desk is the check in wizard! The restaurant and bar have good food and excellent drinks. Ordered a carafe of coffee from the Boulder Grill. It was there almost before I got off the phone.

Was told during reservation that we could have a roll-away only to get to check-in and find out that my room couldnt have one due to fire code. That caused a sleeping arrangement nightmare that could have been avoided had I been told on the front end. Room was small but nice. Staff was pleasant. Hotel restaurant was very good. Bed was hard and uncomfortable and air took 6 hours to cool the room down...not sure whats up with that. Parking is horrible even on weekend and underground parking deck is a joke. 6th floor elevator doors didnt appear to have been cleaned in months and the windows in our room were filthy as well. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and very nice. Housekeeping done a wonderful job changing towels and making the bed. Not sure that I'd stay there again with more than one person though.

I had to travel to Tulsa for a business trip for work. I enjoy this hotel because it is close to my work and only a couple of minutes away. The room had a wonderful view of downtown and the room service was outstanding!

We arrived at check-in time at 3PM and were told it would be another 20 minutes as we had one of two rooms in a "block" for a wedding so we went away and came back at 3:30PM to find that the one room that was ready was just assigned to a different party (not sure if they were with the same wedding). Only after I explained that I needed to shower, iron clothes and still get ready for the wedding that evening within the hour did the person give us a room on the 3rd floor instead of on the 11th floor.
Why didn't we just get the other room right way as this put a lot of stress on me to get everything done in an hour instead of 90 minutes. We barely got to the wedding on time.
Other than that stress the stay was fine.

This hotel and staff always do a great job greeting and taking care of the guests.
This time the mattress was hard which was a first and the pillows weren't as fluffy as normal.
I have tried the dining several times and we have never had good luck. I wouldn't recommend eating there other than that it is great.

The reception area and staff were very friendly, efficient and positive. The overall stay was terrible. I stayed three nights and my room was only "cleaned" once and even the one visit was of little or no benefit. It took nearly 25 minutes to get an elevator from 3b parking to the 7th floor. I would have taken stairs but I had two heavy pieces of luggage. My room and 7th floor hallway had a terrible odor.
