Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lighting and outlets to plug in phones, computer The lighting is not adequate to read by. I have learned to bring my own bulb and exchange it out. It is a hassle, but is the only way I can read. There were no outlets that were convenient to plug in phones, computers, etc. Also the heating was o.k., but could never regulate the temperature correctly, It was either too hot or too cold. Having the option of bringing some food along with the room refrigerator plus microwave is a great plus. Our only suggestion is wondering if there could be a separate container for recyclables(hoping it doesn't make for more work for housekeeping). With the ever present area landfill as a reminder, how about a green option? You have room plastic cups and daily newspapers for starters.Have had this option at a competitors elsewhere. Being environmentally concerned have gone as far as taking our recyclable trash back home with us hating to add to what gets throw away. November 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Average/Below Hotel The hotel cleaning staff are excellent and very friendly and accommodating to include the front desk, I was in a suite that had little to know water pressure and the towels were a little on the dirty and worn side, I had to switch rooms in the middle of my 5 day stay because my upgrade which I had to ask for "should of been known by staff" the room was booked for over the weekend, the front desk staff wanted to move me completely across the hotel "the furthest point from were I was at" when I reminded them I was a platinum member and if they could find me something a little closer, they moved me across the hall around 15 feet from were I was staying originally? why they didn't figure that out without me asking was a little strange. Again the towels in this room were dingy one had a brown spot (yuk) on it, and the hotel cleaning lady couldn't of been nicer and accommodating correcting the issue. Bottom line the hotel is okay, they just need a little more attention to detail, it would be my last choice for accommodations in the area but given no other choice I would stay there again. One last thing the bar, very badly run, waited over 10 minutes for a drink I was one of three people at the bar, the bartender was to busy on her cell phone and talking with her boyfriend at the bar to properly take our order bar was dirty with glasses and spilt drinks on counter and never wiped off the entire time it took me and my partner to drink our drinks, never was offered a menu (not that I would of eaten there anyway) November 17, 2014
