Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Marvelous hotel This hotel is "themed" with chandeliers and many antiques to give the feel of a classic hotel from the Victorian era. It works and works wonderfully well. It's not like any HI Express I've ever stayed at - just incredibly luxurious and fun to stay at. Give it a try - you'll be glad you did! May 18, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No WIFI and Poor Cable service I travel for business and have been staying here on and off for over 10 years. I don't know if they have gotten new owners but this place has really went downhill and shouldn't even be part of the Holiday Inn brand anymore. I am brand loyal to Holiday Inn because when I stay at one I know what I am getting because they are all consistent. This is my 3rd or 4th time withing the last year staying here and I am done. You can never get a wifi signal and it doesn't matter if you have a room next to the front desk or far away. Additionally the tv has poor picture quality and does not get all channels cleraly. The dead bolts in one of my rooms was off the hinges and thats a big deal when you are a single women traveling. There are scuff marks and undentified markings on the walls and ceilings. The place needs to be updated. Also they always act strange at the front desk. A lot of other people I work with that have been staying here agree with me and had similar problems when staying here. I am not paying for my hotel room work does, but for that price I can get a better room at a much nicer hotel. I am not a fan of trying new hotels, however I am so disappointed that I am going to have to. May 18, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fight weekend on TV and at the hotel The check in process was too long, KT should be released. I had 2 rooms for a 2 night stay (Fri-Sun), late Saturday evening, we were locked out from the doors and our rooms. KT said I had 2 reservations and told me "No worries". It was hard to understand him. And I was going to be charged for 4 nights instead of 2. And the morning staff would take care of it. Also there was a strong smell of musk (body odor). I was NOT happy! The pool did not have any towels and had several dirty towels on the floor. It was not open/unlocked at 830am, but the hours began at 6am. The best part was the breakfast attendant, she was very nice, professional and even brought us plates once the pancake maker worked. She insured that everyone received food before closing the dining area. The check out with Yesi was a lot better than check in. My bill was corrected and she apologized. Being a Gold Elite member, I expected better from IHG. May 14, 2015
