Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Room and Great Service The Staff was very accomodating and willing to make our stay a good one. There was a good variety of breakfast items. I would recommend you have more meat choices for vegetarians such as vegie sausage links. The turkey patties did not taste good and are not vegetarian. I had a problem with the laundry room...not enough working machines. There is only two dryers and one was broke during our first five day stay and still broke when we came back for four more days. Also, one of the washers lid locked before I could get my clothes in it. The instructions did not clearly state this would happen. July 18, 2014

If all hotels and staff took the pride that this group does, staying in hotels would be a pleasure. This is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in and I cannot say enough about how helpful and kind the staff there is. Truly a pleasure staying there and worth every penny!! July 15, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room but long wait Be flexible for a short staffed experience. We waited at the airport for 45 minutes for complimentary shuttle. Only 2 people working as shuttle driver and front desk. Room was attractive, comfortable. Dining area typical of any that offers continental breakfast. Plenty of food at breakfast. No manager on hand to help with issues. July 14, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and modern The rooms are quite spacious, modern and clean. Beds are comfortable, however, the pillows are lumpy. The air conditioner was very loud, so I slept better with the window open and the air conditioner off. Breakfast is pretty typical for a hotel like this, not that great, but free. I would stay here again, as I appreciated the free internet, friendly and helpful staff, modern and clean rooms. My rating of this hotel is somewhat low because there were problems with my first room, hence I did not sleep well that night. However, the staff were very responsive and moved me to a nice room where I was able to sleep comfortably for the rest of my stay. July 14, 2014

I was honored and thanked the staff for acknowledging that loyalty-- This type of recognition does not happen often enough within this brand of hotels-- loyalty to the brand-- by its members-- some locations could care less- it is about the rate and body count or room count and acknowledgement of the "loyalty to the brand" is never mentioned or even considered in some locations-- what a shame- Thanks again to the staff at this location- greatly appreciated! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My Experience As always, my stay at any IHG hotel was wonderful! The staff is always on point in ensuring that we are taken care of in every aspect of "customer service!" Sleep quality is only rated at a 2 because of the time of year. There is light for some 20 hours. Even closing the shade did not keep it out of the room. That is no fault of the IHG; just the nature of the beast. I just happen to be someone who must have total darkness. I am sure when I go back in January I will not have that issue!! Keep up the great work! P.S. I would like to recommend that smoking not occur just outside of the front door. Once it is in our clothes, we carry it with us throughout the day. The lobby is cute and room was comfortable with good black-out shades (important in Alaska in the summer). The pool was small but my family had fun. Attentive staff. Our family of 4 was comfortable. The price becomes ridiculous though in the high season for a fairly average hotel. Good staff, clean quiet hotel though. Would be nice to access some breakfast food though before 05:00hrs for business travelers like myself who check out early. June 20, 2014

Bed was very comfortable, room temperature adjustments were great (I like it cool), and the breakfast was perfect! Would gladly stay again. We had not had a pleasant experience on our ship and were exhausted and ready to be home. However, our stay in Anchorage was wonderful! The staff at the hotel were among some of the friendliest people I have ever met! The rooms were some of the nicest I have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Anchorage, AK! June 9, 2014

I wondered if it was a new facility. Everything was well kept and looked new, fresh, tastefully decorated. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Holiday Inn Express Ever On check-in, I could not find my HIE number. I asked Tammy to look it up. She refused saying, "you do not get points for internet reservations. I told her I got them plus bonus points in Seward, AK the night before. Her response was, "if you find your number, bring it up here and I will try to put it in". Eventually, I found it. She put it in. I am a gold member. there was no offer of extra points or any perks on check-in. The room was not clean (232). there were crumbs on the floor between the beds. It stunk. We found a pr of dirty, smelly socks under the bed by the door from the last occupant, no doubt. The sheets did not feel clean. They were old and the material had a lot of little "fabric pills" on them. The 8 pillows in the room were all mush despite the firm label. This was the worst Holiday Inn ever June 3, 2014
