Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Place to Stay in Billings We found the Billings Holliday Inn an excellent choice for a night in Billings. The hotel is conveniently located near I90 and I84 thus accessible to east-bound or west-bound travelers. There are multiple fast food restaurants within a short distance to fill the need for a quick bite. However, there is a need for a quality sit-down restaurant within a short drive. Beds were very comfortable but I found that the way the bed was made-up made me feel like I was short-sheeted. A quick pull at the excess sheeting at the end of the bed quickly fixed that small problem. September 22, 2013

She did not offer us water ( we are Priority Club members) When we went to our room, it had not been cleaned. She offered us another room but said "This has been happening a lot lately" Clearly not her fault but as an employee, should not have bad mouthed the cleaning staff. She did seem frustrated with the cleaning staff though. September 17, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy My room was closest to the highway. The traffic noise came through clearly. In addition it must be near the railroad tracks heard 3 trains go by between midnight and 6am. Not sure if the other side of the hotel would be less noisy. September 8, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by overall experience was outstanding. I had a great time at this Hotel. It provided great service. The rooms were excellent. I had forgotten a few items and did not realize until midway home. I contacted the front desk and the items were returned to front desk by housekeeping staff. No items were missing and they were shipped to me with a small COD charge which I had no problem paying because it was my fault I forgot them. I am thankful for the extended service to ship them to me. I will stay at your hotel again. The indoor pool was awesome!!!! September 2, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No AC At Night Friendly greeting on checkin but no greeting or acknowledgement of being a Rewards guest. That aside the bed was too firm for someone with a bad back and of course the pillows are the size of a postage stamp. Whoever selected those pillows are not using them at home but should be required to live with their low cost decision. Then they would be changed to something comfortable. We asked them to look at the air conditioner which allowed the room to get hot at night no matter what the setting. When I followed up with a different desk clerk that evening she had no knowledge of the issue and could not verify anything was done. And, of course it continued to be hot that night as well. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Watch out for this hotel Hotel had no information of file for my group (email, phone number, mailing address) all of which was given at time of reservation. So like most people I was dependant on a confirmation email which never came. Long story short, we lost communication with this location and ended up booking somewhere else. Being from MS we had no idea of these surroundings. They still charged us the no show fees even after the manager looked in the system and saw her staff had entered NO CONTACT INFORMATION for our booking. I just called the manager about the whole ordeal twice. First time SHE HUNG UP ON ME! Second time she took no responsibility in the matter. I owned up to my portion of the fault.. Of the many Holiday Inns I've stayed in this is simply the best property. IHG ought to use this property as the gold standard for anyone flying the Holiday Inn logo. I personally commented about Billings to a few fellow travelers; each one who stayed there knew exactly what I was talking about. Keep up the good work Billings.... August 5, 2013

This facility was convenient for our needs in the Billings area. It was close to freeway, but quiet and comfortable. If you need access to restaurants without a 10 minute drive, your choices will be limited!! For us, this was never an issue!! July 31, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Awful smoke odor and staff miskeyed information I sometimes stay at this hotel in my travels. This stay was an exception to a usual pleasant experience. My room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Upon arrival, the desk clerk looked up my priority number, however, unbeknownst to me, she input the wrong number and some other name was then automatically put on my invoice. This causes a difficult situation as my client requires invoices in order to reimburse me for my expenses. This invoice does not display my name. The morning clerk simply said "I'm sorry. There is nothing I can do once the charge is posted". She then informed me to call Holiday Inn to get my points and name straightened out on the invoice. I do not appreciate the fact that I need to take care of a problem that was due to negligence on the part of a desk clerk. I am a self employed individual, and I do not have time to do this kind of troubleshooting. Therefore, I guess somebody else just got lucky and received points on their Priority Account. I will simply stay where my concerns can be addressed, and rooms smell fresh. July 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best HI Express So Far On a recent business trip to every major western U.S. city, this Holiday Inn Express stood out at the best of every HI Express I stayed in. No disappointments here...everything was excellent. A little pricier than other cities, but I'd probably stay here again, although it is a bit east of town and not close to anything nice or fun if you're looking for city life. Not a good hotel to drive back to after a night out at a bar. Get a cab, or stay closer to town. July 8, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor service checking in, they fertilized my car in parking lot Upon our arrival, I went in to register and there where four people waiting for someone to come out to the front desk (approximately 5-10 mins before someone even came out). I had a "Priority Club" reservation or I would have walked out. She then stood there complaining that the plumbing has problems to all of us waiting, 2 of the people left without even talking to her, 2 of us checked in. She promised that there would not be plumbing problems. I was not greeted or welcomed as a priority club member, also no welcome bag. The room was dark and we slept well-beds are comfortable. When we got up in the morning, 45 minutes before breakfast was to be over, the selection was poor and unappetizing so I went to the drive in down the street. When we got to our car it had been sprayed with fertilizer or something that stunk and was very tough to clean off the windshield and side of the car. July 5, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Bad customer service; Tired motel Very poor management at this hotel. I had a bad experience where they lost my reservation and when I checked in they wanted to charge me $24 more than the price they had quoted me. On top of this, I had just stayed at the motel 3 days earlier at the lower price. AND I had made reservations for both days in person and by calling the hotel directly. They wouldn't budge on their price even though it was their fault that they lost my reservation at the lower price. Sounds rather convenient doesn't it. This hotel used to be a very good hotel but it is showing its age. It just looks 'tired.' They need to do a complete remodel and update everything. But most of all, they need to discover what customer service is all about. April 14, 2013
