Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Construction in Lobby, but VERY accommodating... We arrived and were surprised by extensive floor replacement in the lobby. The desk person was extremely apologetic and offered us a discount and breakfast delivery if need be. The room was great, but dated. The staff was incredible and the location can't be beat. Had a great time and would return. April 8, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Downtown Location Nice hotel in a great downtown location with very friendly and helpful staff. Renovations were happening which impacted our enjoyment. Would have liked to know this information when booking. No additional discounts offered due to the inconvenience. I'm sure will be much nicer and more enjoyable when the renovations are complete. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy hotel and quite run down We stayed at this hotel on a family vacation to Boston. On arrival we found the floor in reception had been dug up and a wet cement floor was waiting to dry. Staff were pleasant at check in and we were given our room swiftly. The breakfast area was all but out of commission. We ordered food to be brought to our room but not ideal eating your breakfast sitting on your bed. The noise of drums outside and constant sirens was very off putting. We left the hotel a day early because of this. The staff did there best to help however out of courtesy we should have been informed of the upgrade work taking place before we arrived. That would have allowed us to make an informed decision wether to stay or not. As a platinum member I fel that the room given was substandard so unfortunately will not be returning again. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HI Express TD Garden Staff is great, friendly, valet guys are very helpful, rooms are small typical city size, not much of a view, $40 parking fee-standard for Boston, Elevator is extremely slow, Lobby is under renovation, breakfast is very good, not easy to get to if an event at the Garden but good location for North End/Faneuil Hall Marketplace. If you get a good deal it is worth it. April 1, 2015
