At first you may question the location, but really the convenience of the location to the T and restaurants was awesome. We had a wonderful and economic stay that we would do again in a heartbeat!

The staff is so friendly, welcoming and treats everyone like family! They make this small city hotel feel like your home away from home, will definitely stay here in the future.
TD Garden is right across the street. Every Boston trolley stops there and North Station is on the corner. It's a 10 minute walk to Quincy Market making this location convenient to all of Boston!

Recently I took a few days off for a 'girls" trip to Boston. I naturally choose Holiday Inn Boston as I travel for work and HI properties are on my perferred list. I am so pleased that I chose to spend a few days with the nice folks at Holiday Inn Boston Garden.
Upon arrival a very nice valet took care of unloading the vehicle and parking the car. My friends and I were warmly greeted by all staff that we came in contact with. Staff were personable and knowlegable about the area. We were given good advice and good directions. Our room was clean and well organized, plenty of electrical outlets and towels. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and had a nice selection of breads, fruit, hot beverages and dairy products.
I will stay at this hotel again when I am in the Boston area.

Everyone we dealt with was very polite and friendly. They gave us their full attention, smiled and were helpful. We stay in Boston several times a year each year. Each time we choose a different hotel and this hotel has the hest staff we have encountered.

From the valets, to the front desk staff and everyone else we encountered- the staff at the Holiday Inn Express near TD Gardens in Boston- was so friendly, informative and helpful. They were great ambassadors for the Boston area.
The room was nice and offered everything that my husband and I needed for our 4 night stay.
The only complaint was the television reception wasn't the best- but who stays at a hotel to watch tv any way?!
We would definitely return to this Holiday Inn.

We had two rooms on the fourth floor which accommodated my entire family. Very convenient of them to book both room next to each other for easy access. The rooms were clean and well appointed.
Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by staff, questions asked were readily answered. The concierge was very accommodating arranging tickets for us to the Trolley tour. Directions were given to the festival being held in the north end. Recommendations were given for activities and restaurants.
The entire family enjoyed the stay. We will definitely return.

We were close to everything we wanted to do downtown. The staff was overly friendly, which I suppose is okay. The rooms were quite even though we were on a busy street. My only compliants are that there was not enough seating at breakfast during the busy times and that the elevator was incrediably slow and warm. Overall, a good experience.

We were first time visitors to Boston, just there for the weekend to see the sights. The hotel is very old, but nicely updated and the room was recently remodeled. It had a microwave and refrigerator, and was quiet, considering its location across the street from the TD Gardens. The staff treated us like family, always calling us by name, and they suggested the best places to eat and great sightseeing packages. I would highly recommend staying here and we will surely return to visit again soon.

The staff was super including the valet attendants. The problem was the place has a bar two doors down and the Harleys roll in all night with the wing nuts. I can relate to that, I was young once. That did not help me because I had an important training on Sat. morning and I was exhausted. Kudos to the staff but the building is old and sounds echoes through the walls. I have lived in big cities but the cement attraction has lost all it's appeal. Glad to be home.

The reception staff were outstanding particularly Anita & Joe. The breakfast lady, Tonia (may be spelt wrong) was equally good. The room was a disaster. There was no planned layout. The windows were very small and high up. (need a chair to stand on to look out). The air condition system made constant high volume noise all night. The bedside light, you had to get out of bed to switch it off. The bed side clock/alarm could not be used. It was either the light or the clock,. not both.
Had I used the hotel for a two night visit, the facilities might have been satisfactory. For a 7 night stay, I should have been offered a better room.
The reception was far too small. Breakfast area was very cramped.
I would say that the hotel would be fantastic for 1 night stay if you are going to he TD Garden, just a very short walk away.
Anita was your star worker, she looked after me well from arrival to departure.

I would highly recommend this property if staying in Boston - was very convenient to the subway and points of interest. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Anita was especially helpful with getting us around the city. Room was very clean. We received the BEST welcome ever as Platinum members.

We were in town for a Red Sox game. The front desk staff was eager to assist with restaurant suggestions and the most convenient way around the city ! They were very helpful .
The information relieved much of the stress.
The only problem was the signage out front. (very little)
The ever-present and welcoming "giant green H " was all but invisible, and unlit.

What a lovely hotel. Not much to look at from the outside but who cares. Free breakfast with a surprisingly good choice . Boys loved he pancake making machine.
Staff super polite without going over bored.
Anita was a gem and was very attentive with our boys.
Beds comfy and a quiet restful night again a pleasant surprise considering close to a lot of bars and the arena.
What a great stay and Boston is a fantastic place to visit and all accessible with a short walk.

Very nice, modern and clean room. The immediate surroundings felt a bit rough though. Close to Little Italy and Beacon Hill. The breakfast was OK, extremely sugary! Nice and helpful staff.

The room had no A/C the staff took their time sending someone to fix it and he was unsuccessful twice. The manager said that there was nothing they could do but comp us the room and the valet parking.
At check out we were told we had to pay for the first day of parking. While discussing the situation with the front deck staff member a second staff member try to help only to be rudely brushed off by the first. That's not something I want to see as a customer.
This was our once year baseball trip and it was totally ruin by the horrible service at this hotel.

We had an overnight in Boston and found the Boston Garden Holiday Express to be very comfortable. It is centrally located to the North End where we wanted to spend the afternoon and evening. Our room was large and very comfortable with great windows but the view wasn't that great! The staff was excellent and very knowledgeable about what was happening in the city. The breakfast area was small but offered a good variety of foods..
Overall, a great experience.

Our recent vacation to Boston was made even more enjoyable by the excellent staff and the best customer service we have ever experienced! The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast selections were very good but the attention and friendliness of the staff was the best!! We were always greeted with a smile and a kind word. Even the front desk person called our room to make sure we had everything we needed. When we were a towel short, the housekeeping staff had a fresh towel at our door within a couple of minutes. The rooms are a bit tight, but we weren't there to stay in the rooms. After seeing the sights and sight seeing in Boston all we needed were hot showers and comfortable beds and we got both.

The rooms were comfotable, walking distance to dowtown Boston, staff was very welcoming, breakfast attendant was super and a great choice of food.

I travel alot and also own a country inn, Its extremely hard to find such a great employee..we werent happy with the rms or the area but Joe made us feel so welcomed that it was all worth it.. I am not usually one to comment on customer service since I expect it at a hotel, but the staff of the Hilton Inn Express Boston Garden went above and beyond during my recent visit.
My daughter and I flew in from LA on the red eye and arrived at the hotel quite early. There were no rooms available and the staff at the front desk apologized profusely for not being able to get us settled immediately. We were offered breakfast, and the staff was very attentive as we waited for a room to be vacated and cleaned. We were given the first available room, which happened to be an upgrade. About 30 seconds after arriving in the room, the staff from the front desk called up to be sure the room was OK, and wished us a nice rest after our travels. Very attentive customer service that was very much appreciated after a long night.

I was treated amazingly as soon as I pulled up to the curb in front of the hotel. The bellman and valet were extremely courteous and helped unpack all of my luggage. I was treated like a queen! It was by far one of the best customer service experiences I have ever experienced. They handed out Boston Marathon sneaker shaped cookies!
Location of the hotel could not have been better for the price! Right in downtown, you could see TD Garden right down the street.
There was leak from the ceiling and we called for a repair man. They were in the room in a few minutes. Apologized over and over again for any inconvenience, even though it was not their fault.
I cannot boast enough about the manager at this hotel. I received a personal call from the manager in the morning after he was told by staff of the leak I had in my room, and he told me that he would reimburse me for the room expenses--and I mean the ENTIRE room expenses, except the parking fee of 25$ for my troubles of having a leak in my room! I will only stay at this hotel when I am in Boston, and anytime I have to refer anyone of a hotel in Boston, this is where I will tell them to stay!

There was poor service from the front desk . There was only half the linen for the pull out sofa. we waited until 11.45pm the night auditor was more busy telling me that i am wrong there should be full linen set. when he did come I had to demo him.
There were flies in the bathroom and around the bed. I asked for the change of room they said we can move you to rm 210 but does not have tv and ac IF THAT IS THE CASE THIS ROOM IS SUPPOSED TO BE DOWN, WHY CLEAN AND READY. IF IT IS OUT OF SERVICE WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Spoke with the GM in the morning , he promised that he will go and check the room for flies. we waited for 30 minutes , he did not move from Front desk.
No apology rather explanation that since you booked under IHG owner , you get what you get attitude. I know the rules but treatment could have been different , my status as platinum member did not mean much to my request for two beds.
I had booked this room again for 7/6/2013 , cancelled it and stayed at other IHG express property.
Overall poor staffing and management.

Our stay was made very enjoyable by the excellent service provided by your staff. Alice and Amy were especially helpful and friendly in providing site seeing information and making restaurant recommendations. Alice especially went out of her way to meet guests, learn their names and be especially helpful. Housekeeping and other lobby staff were very friendly and helpful also.
