Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, great service, good food Would be more comfortable to have a comfortable chair or love seat to relax on. February 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Oustanding Hotel! My wife and I made this hotel our home for a week while visiting family in the Boulder area and we are very pleased with the service and quality. We travel a fair amount - perhaps 25 nights per year in hotels of various brands - and this stay was absolutely the best. The staff was all very helpful and attentive to our every need. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly as expected This hotel is fine, it is a good choice for business travelers who have a rental car or their own car onsite. I did not have any problems. As expected from HI express I checked in, got my work done, and got out of town and back home without any added frustration. The breakfast is typical HI Express breakfast. The price is a bit high, but that is typical of Boulder, and for most guests their company probably pays anyway..so who cares...that just means more priority club points! I'll plan on staying here again next time I'm in town. January 31, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and comfortable I stay at this hotel four or so times per year. I am always impressed with the service and the warmth of the employees--especially the breakfast server. She keeps on top of everything and still has time to be friendly. I like the beds, the linens, and the decor--everything! The only thing problematic is that the cost goes up so much at certain times of year, like summer, and you can't get a weekly rate then. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Close to good restaurants, easy bus access, room to hot Hotel is close by (walkable) to two restaurants and a small, eclectic commercial area. The restaurants are Protos Pizza and Bacco Trattoria and Mozzarella Bar. These two restaurants make it worth staying in this part of town. It is very easy to take a bus downtown and back fro this hotel Breakfast was typical for this class of hotel. Cold and hot breakfast items were available, including eggs, cereal, breads, sweet breads, juices, pancakes, yogurt, apples, bananas, etc. For some unexplained reason Room 235 was way to hot, even with the heater turned off or at the minimum of 58 deg F. I had to open window to get some fresh air in December. December 19, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No Breakfast & Internet I have stayed at many different Holiday Inn Expresses and other hotels over the years. I was very disappointed with the Boulder, CO Holiday Inn Express. For the cost of the room I would have expected a better set up for breakfast and in room internet. The breakfast is not scheduled to start in the morning until 6:30 AM. Of my 5 mornings on site I only saw food being prepared and arranged in the breakfast area twice. Of those two times the Holiday Inn employee let me in so that I could grab a quick breakfast at 6:15 AM. I had to be at work at 7:00 AM and had a 30 minute drive. The other mornings there was nothing out at 6:15 AM and the breakfast room was dark. There is no reason to not have somethings ready earlier than the schedule open time for breakfast so that someone can have an orange juice and bowl of cereal. The other complaint I have was the internet. Of my 5 nights on site I was only able to get internet 2 times in my room. I was able to get internet once down at the lobby computer by plugging the intranet cord into my laptop. The other times I could not even get the internet to work in the lobby. Front desk could not get the lobby computer to work either. For the cost this facility was too expense due to lack of internet, breakfast and finally location. It was located at the complete North end of Boulder, CO, no where near town at all. Finally this hotel did not have a true Holiday Inn Express feel to it and it actually felt like it was an old style motel that was converted recently to an HIE. Regards, Christian December 6, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor everything I made the reservations on line and was not informed about the extremely poor location and property condition. The ro0m smelled and did not match the expectation because of he high cost per night. There was a home type jacuzzi tub sitting under a covered patio that only had one entry and exit situated toward the front of the property in a small fenced area. No towels were available for guess use. Poor planning. The pool is exposed and not usable during our visit. The staff was not able to help us find our way back to the freeway. The location is next to a large homeless shelter which had lots of foot traffic in the area of an unsecured parking lot. Would not stay here again. November 2, 2012
