I received excellent service from the time I walked thru the door. I look forward to staying with you again. Your front desk clerk was a wonderful young lady.

Enjoyed staying here, as always. Certain things could be improved but that's anywhere you stay

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The only unfortunate experience was leaving. One hotel staff person did not make room on the elevator for an ADA descent. All other staff were conscientious and courteous.

Staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast was hot and ready promptly at 6:30. The night auditor Derek went to great lengths to find me food delivery options at 2 am. Was very thankful for that.

Great value for location. Room was very clean and staff was most courteous. Disappointed that we needed to pay such a high fee for parking; however would probably stay there again.

I stayed at this cute and quiet hotel over the Christmas holiday. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, super fast check-in, and most of all this hotel is a very convenient to one of Brooklyn's prime locations.. Atlantic Avenue. I enjoyed the view of the city at night from my window and only had to walk a few street blocks to the R train; 1 stop to Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center. This hotel also had its own parking lot (which is rare for city hotels). Decent price, well lit, and safe. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Brooklyn for any occasion.

Would like to mention lack of Christmas holiday decorations in lobby. We were told that Holiday Inn no longer allowed due to fear of offending non-Christians. My wife is Muslim from Morocco, where Christmas is celebrated! It's a worldwide phenomenon! Would have been so much nicer to have the holiday cheer exhibited by Holiday Inn as others do.

Overall my experience at the Holiday Inn Express on Union Street in Brooklyn was typical. What I have to compare it to is a few local, independently run upstate hotels. Frankly, my room was in need of some minor repairs, which was a big turn off. The Jacuzzi tub in particular wasn't functioning, so I spent extra dollars on virtually nothing. Speaking of virtually nothing, the size of the hotel parking lot was minuscule compared with the number of rooms. I certainly would not recommend driving into this location. They also were not responsible for anything lost or stolen so it's basically parking on the street. The breakfast area had a gas-station-esque variety of standard breakfast foods. The pancake maker was on the fritz, which was disappointing. The dining area was fairly messy. The staff worked hard, and responded as they could to my needs, I just think the hotel is understaffed, and in my eyes, certainly didn't give me any bang, or Jacuzzi jets, for my buck.
