Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stay away! This hotel did not fulfill my expectations and experiences with Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express at all. The rooms are comparable to the worst non franchise motels on an US highway. Everything is banged up, holes in door frames, half of the TV channels not working or without sound. Half of the lights not working, frames and fixtures painted over white. A run down place that seems to be satisfied by making money off springbrakers who don't care too much. Waited 30 minutes on check out because the room needed to be "checked". What could I have broken that wasn't already broken? Staff inattentive and only getting up once addressed with a couple of deftly Spanish expressions. 5pm and the room was still not cleaned. Breakfast is a joke. This place is a dump! February 23, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No hot water at this hotel. The hotel room was fine. Never got any hot water. Never could take a hot shower or bath. Beds were hard. The pillows were great. Breakfast started 30 mins late making me late for my appointment. Staff was very friendly. Grounds were kept very nice and the pool was very clean. February 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Basic Hotel At Valued Price I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for my trip to Cancun, Mexico. I speficially chose the Holiday Inn Express because I am an IHG member and know the value of their hotels; more importantly because of the low rate in comparison to other hotels in the area, including lower rate to other IHG hotels in the area. I am pleased with the hotel as it met my needs; I only stayed at the hotel for a place to sleep at night. I spent most of my time out and about on tours, at the mall and into the city. The hotel had a desk on the side where you can make reservations for tours in the Mayan areas and other attractions in Cancun and the Quintana Roo area. My one dissatisfaction was with the breakfast option at the hotel which was very limited and not what I am used. I ended up just going to the local McDonalds for breakfast. One thing I have to mention and point out is that the Holiday Inn Express is not on the main road Kukulcan Blvd of the Cancun resort area like the other hotels. That may be a problem for some people but for me it was a short distance walking up from the hotel onto the main road; then again, I'm a long distance runner. The hotel was basic and just fine for me since I only used the hotel to sleep at night after a long day of touring and sigh-seeing. February 18, 2015

We didn't make breakfast first morning due to a time change that only just happened which we didn't know about. Chose to leave early the next morning so again missed breakfast. February 11, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A undesirable event I reserved my room for three nights, but when I arrived I asked to the front desk clerk Celestino if I have to leave one day earlier, I will not get charge for it, if I will let them know in advance, he assured that if I let them know early in the morning it won't be a problem. Effectively I had to check out one day before and when I reached him and his coworker they said that it won't be possible without get charge for that night, I told them what we had talked two days before and he said he didn't say that, that he charged my credit card since the first day, ( which he never asked if I agree with that). That situation really upset me because he treated me like a LIAR, after I got mad and demand respect from them, then they make the transaction reverse for that night ( it still not appear yet in my statement ). Beside this undesirable event my stay was great I think I have more than I expected. Sincerely, Dr J February 3, 2015

Ihre Strahlung kann das Wohlbefinden beeintraechtigen. Ganz schlecht: Das Hotel hat kein Restaurant. January 26, 2015
