This was our 2nd stay in recent months at this location. We will be back. It is conveniently located right off highway. Rooms clean and well appointed. Best of all...the evening front desk clerk, Ashley, is always happy and welcoming and helpful! The night desk clerk...unfortunately, even on our 2nd stay did not catch his name...but, he made sure that the wonderful free breakfast was out early for us since we needed to leave by 7 AM for our horse show again. Highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Chelsea!

The bathtub has no bath mat or applique on the base to make it less slick. When taking a shower, the combination of soap and water makes it hazardous.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by P5403 Quite. Comfortable bed and clean rooms.
I realize we all try to save money and as requested, we used our towels more than once, actually 2 days. However, it is always refreshing to have clean towels daily at a motel. We asked for clean linens and we received that but fresh and clean towels would have been great too. Overall, great service, cleanliness. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

While this property was well maintained and very comfortable with a very congenial and helpful, it is quite overpriced. I had stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in another city that was comparable to this one and was given a discount as a retired military member and payed about 50% of what I payed at this facility. I am not sure what caused the significant difference in charge or the unwillingness to give me a military discount, but it truly lowered my satisfaction significantly.

I've stayed here twice. I forgot that I didn't enjoy my first stay here and needed to travel at the last minute and booked a room here.
3:30am wake up call by what I think was the person next to me taking a shower. The pipes were screachingly loud. I didn't bother calling the front desk because I didn't want to wait in the middle of the night for someone to come tell me what I probably already knew. I had to wait 20-30 minutes for the shower to stop. Then the walking above my room started. Picture being at home and how you can hear someone walking on the second floor, I didn't think we were supposed to hear that in a hotel facility.
I won't stay here again.

Everything was great, but one thing really stood out. It didn't matter when i came down to the breakfast area, the food, tables, counters floor looked perfect. The young lady , who took care of the area, was very efficient, and always made a quick sweep through the area, when customers were away from the counter, to clean , top off food, etc. Many hotels have food areas that are a total disaster. This one was exceptionally outstanding.

The only complaint that I have is that the first night I asked for a wake up call and the call came nearly 12 minutes late and I hadn't planned for that, rather, I had timed my morning routine to the minute and it set me back the entire day.
