The rooms are getting run down but the bed and sheets and towels still seem clean. Tub and sink drain both were slow going down (common situation here). Ankle deep shower water by the time I was done and the water rising in the sink.. I used to tell the attendant, but it's the same on most occasions here. (broken record).
By the way, the added tables and partition in the dining area is nice. More accommodations and cozier.
Don't discard them, still not a bad hotel, just doesn't seem to get better.

Our stay mostly was very pleasant.One thing we didn't like though was that we were not verbally thanked or given any token for being Priority Club members.The location is very good so we still will return.

non smoking room with person smoking next door;
front desk staff did not switch rooms even though my wife was staying in a room with 3 children and an infant.
called front desk a second time after smoking did not stop. Could not reach front desk.
was told my ihg that this hotel had pool; which it did not.
Not a good experience.

I came down for breakfast at 9:15 am, I tried to make pancakes and the machine was empty. I asked the staff on duty about more and got the response of your to late there is no more. I've stayed at plenty of holiday inn expresses and have run into this situation before and was told to please wait while they make more.
The eggs were cold and the orange juice was so watered down it was not very pleasant. If you wanted cereal or toast you were in luck.
I've stayed at this particular hotel before and have never gotten that response before. Not very impressed this time around.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel; my wife and I prefer the HIE over almost all others when we travel. Only change I would make would be to improve the exercise room (the one in Crawfordsville, Indiana is absolutely fantastic!). We are always treated well and feel very comfortable in the surroundings. Easy access to the PA Turnpike. Very nice front desk staff. Nice breakfast selection - healthy and not so healthy for those who dare to indulge! Decent Italian restaurant next door. Ordered food to take back to the room. Quiet hotel.

I'm sorry but I have definately stayed at better Holiday Inn Express's than this. They didn't change the bed linens as I asked (a blood stain on sheets), the room was so clustrophobic I couldn't stay in there other than to sleep, the bethroom was the smallest ever and the front desk ignored you. I am a Platinum Member and definately did not get the upgade I was promised. Will not stay here even if I have to return to this location.

Could not get to destination on time. Attempted to cancel for the night but was late calling in - so we cancelled the next 4 nights as well. I expected more for being a IHG Rewards member.

Everthing was ok, except they failed to service the room while I was gone for 8 hours. I had removed the 'do not disturb' sign when leaving the room early in the day. I did mention this to the front desk at check out.

This HI Express is well located with lots of shopping and food in the immediate area.
The common areas are relatively clean and fresh, but the rooms are overdue for a remodel. Fiberglass insert tub surrounds, low shower heads, and a good assortment, but tired furnishings.
A good location for a one night-er just of the PA-turnpike exit, but not a place I'd wnat to be kept at for a multi-day job in the neighborhood.

I booked this room weeks in advance, and at the time of booking requested one of the rooms up front near the front desk. On arrival I was sent to a room in the rear far from the desk. I brought the matter to the attention of Nicole (I think). She was unsympathetic and basically said "too bad". When checking out, I brought this to the attention of Jen. She was very nice, and said that obviously they dropped the ball. I have stayed at this facility many time in the past year or two. This time was a real disappointment.

Michael at the counter was absolutely helpful, if it wasn't for him I probably would've quit staying a IHG properties all together. I've been choosing to stay at IHG Properties for over a year for quite some time now and realize that most of the properties are franchised but some things should be standard. Like if my room room is incorrectly booked at the wrong Holiday Inn Express Cranberry because they from out of state, it shouldn't take an act of congress to get a hold of someone to correct the issue.
The actual property was completely outdated with a terrible layout that has an elevator that is difficult to find. I typically don't use elevators but I like to know of all possible exits/entrances of where I'm staying.
Back to Michael, he assisted me in attempting to get my problem corrected, was extremely apologetic for my inconveniences with his sister property, and was able to book me room at a comparable rate of which I was already booked through my corporate travel site.
Bottomline IHG should make frequent business travelers stays as convenient as possible. FYI for future travelers, there are 2 Cranberry, Pa's.

I have stayed at this location many times. (4 or 5) and every time I have been extremely pleased with the staff. The people at the desk are friendly and helpful and the gentleman who sets up the breakfast buffet (has been the same person every time I have been there), always seems to be moving about making sure the food area and dining area are clean and well kept. I cannot say enough about the staff at this location.
The rooms have always been cleaned well and the few times I have run into the maid service in the hallways they have been polite.

I have being using this hotel for about 5 years and it is in need for an upgrade to the building. Has not changed as far as I can see. No welcome for Priority Club members. We did arrive late but were not asked if we were members and the same guy at recption did not set the wake up call for us for the next morning. The young lady that was working the next day was very helpful.

Stayed here one night with the fiance when we needed a place to stay one night. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable and clean living arrangements.

I had multiple co-workers and other business associates visiting over a few days and the staff were great. We had multiple people arriving at different days and times, we changed check out times multiple times as our schedule changed and everyone at the hotel was very accommodating. My last day there I need a late checkout time and I didn't even get the typical door knocking after the standard check out times that most hotels seem to do. (You know the usual sure you can stay later but the cleaning staff will knock every 30 mins just in case).
I've stayed here a few times and will be back again.

On the second night of our stay, we returned to our room about 8:00 PM and could hear dogs barking when we turned the corner to ours room. To my dismay, the dogs were in the room right next to us. When I called the front desk, I was informed that the hotel is "pet friendly", but she would try to call the owners. When the barking continued for another half hour with no follow up, I called again and was told basically to " get over it" as the owners were not responding. At 9:00, the front desk staff called and offered to move us. We were in our PJs and we were not annoying anyone. By 10:00 the owners finally returned and the dogs quieted. Very cheap kenneling for them.
If a 2 legged guest was drunk or had a loud party, he would be evicted. Not so with the dogs and dog owners. I guess pet friendly is more important than guest comfort.
I have tried unsuccessfully to reach a management staff at the hotel. My phone calls and emails have not been returned. I did receive a comp for one night, but have yet to receive the requested pet policy. Don't go to this hotel unless you are willing to tolerate incessant dog barking with limited response from the front desk night staff.

The room was very clean. Tight quarters for more than two people. All amenities very nice. Hospitable staff and good value! Lots of services close by. easy off and on interstate and 30 minutes drive to Pittsburgh. We will return!

Still a nice location, but not up to the standards it used to be. There were several slip-ups in housekeeping, such as disposing of the open soaps but not leaving any new ones. Also getting more pricey with each trip.Also no goodie bags for priority members any more.

We stayed 4 nights over the Christmas holidays. The facility is clean, warm, friendly, and conveniently located. The staff were attentive and did nice little things such as having snacks and coffee out all the time (small gift bag at check in for Priority Club Members) and greeted you as you came in and out.
The room was comfortable, internet service good, and housekeeping completely transparent. Breakfast was certainly adequate and the cinnamon buns appreciated. A few more low calorie/high fiber choices would be appreciated.
We will definitely stay here again.
