Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful service and room. It was a joy staying at this Holiday Inn on our weekend getaway. Very friendly front desk man that inquired about our reason for visiting Dallas. We told him we were there to celebrate our 1 year anniversary of being married, to which he congratulated us. As a show of appreciation for choosing to stay with Holiday Inn he provided us with a free room upgrade. We thanked him for the kindness, but had no idea what we had in store. Let's just say it was the cherry on top of our already fun filled weekend. I mean what couple doesn't love a Jacuzzi spa in their bedroom? Thank you so much again for the kindness, it was very much appreciated!!! We will certainly return for another stay at this location the next time our travels bring us through Dallas. April 16, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Below Standard The room was acceptable. we opted for the feature room which had an in room jacuzzi tub. Although the room itsself was decent, the staff at the hotel were not as accommodating as i have experienced before. I was not greeted politely, upon check in the staff seemed to be annoyed that I dare disturb them. They also did not "thank" me like they usually do for being a Platinum member. The room key failed several times and they did not fix the broken card reader. All night long there was someone running up and down the hallways and in the rooms above us. Again, nobody did anything about it. I also believe I left a pair of shoes in the room and when I called to ask if they had found any shoes they insisted I did not stay at the hotel and once they FINALLY founf the reservation he said they did not find anything. Regardless of my "member status" I expect better service ANYWHERE i pay to stay. April 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Spacious Rooms We were happy with the space in our room. Traveling with 5 is sometimes hard to get a room with an extra pull out couch and I hate asking for the extra bed. I like two beds and a couch that pulls out. The breakfast was you usual continental wit the regular items most places have. My only problem was with the pool. The pool area was not very clean. There was a lot of hair in the filter, which means it had not been cleaned and there was old band aids lying around the pool. We had to ask for extra towels they were out inside the pool area and lighting did not come on until evening hours? With a table and chairs just outside the pool door for smoking or sitting outside there were a lot cigarette butts lying around. I find fault with whoever did that but it still needs to be kept clean. We loved the spacious room and the people were very friendly and helpful. We did not really like the location next to the gas station since a lot of people would hang out there and ask for a hand out every time we would run over for something. Again not the fault of the hotel but location for vacationers would be a bit of a disappointment. April 7, 2015
