Had a one-week stay in the hotel for business purposes. Staff was very friendly, shuttle service was excellent.!! Nice location, shuttle takes you through the city, great service!

My wife and I stayed at this Holiday Inn express because it was walking distance from Ford Field - we went to see the Bears beat the Lions ( 26-24 :) ). It is nicely located in the center of Detroit a short walk from the people mover and many great establishments. The one disappointment with our trip was that the first night, we were put in a room next to the elevator, and it was making a lot of noise throughout the night. This kept my wife (who was pregnant) and myself from getting a good nights sleep before game day. However, when we alerted the manager the next morning, they set us up with a suite to make up for the previous night.

I stayed 1 nitght at this hotel to bring my granddaughter to a concert in Detroit. Upon arrival the staff was very helpful and polite. I can't remember the lady's name when we checked in on Dec 7, but she was very nice and helpful and made sure we were comfortable in our room. The parking attendants were courteous and made sure I had my car out front when I needed it. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great. Not just donuts and coffee, but a full complete breakfast that had something for everyone. I would definitely use this hotel again and recommend it to my friends.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels and the staff at the Holiday Inn Express Detroit is by far the best. This is a first class property all the way and it is all the service. The management team at this hotel has really brought each person on board to make this hotel the best!!!

This is the best hotel I have ever satyed at! Very clean and the staff is the most friendly! Sofia and Jeanette are a huge help and have the best personalities! They made my stay worth while! Breakfast staff and the car boys are super nice as well! I will stay here a million times more!

The hotel is ideally situated to hop around to various parts of the downtown...bars...restaurants...All within an easy walk, and certainly a cab ride. Also very close to the People Mover, which is another great way to get around downtown. The hotel is pretty well maintained...Common areas could use some work (only one ice machine worked in the whole hotel), but the rooms are well appointed and clean. No issue with noise or anything...The valet process was a little daunting and they didn't seem like they were able to handle the volume. Could probably use some work and organization in that department. Kinda pricey considering you're in DETROIT (they should be making things CHEAP to get people downtown!), but ALL the hotels down there are priced likewise. Overall, a good stay the few times I've stayed there.

Was in Detroit to attend Tiger ball games. This hotel was in a great location. But the best part was the staff. There were very attentive to all our needs. I have not had this kind of reception and service in a long, long time.

Can readily walk to People Mover to get around to all sports facilities & Greektown. Lots of great breakfast choices. More than enough to fill you up, including hot items. Had a great stay. Have stayed twice & recommend.
