He really helped me out that night because I had a flood and didn't have my ID. I really appreciated his hospitality. So I preserved a room 5 months away because of the service. Excellent job. This was a very busy time and they were handling it with professionalism and a positive attitude. All the employees went over and above to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely stay here during our next visit to Downtown Detroit. March 5, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great price....great value Room could have been cleaner. Dirty soap was left in the shower area. Could have been vacuumed better. Valet took an hour when we wanted to leave. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed that the bar/restaurant was located with the hotel. March 5, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Concert Weekend My family has stayed here for Red Wings games and MAC championships games and the crowds have never been an issue regarding check in and getting to our room. This visit, the front desk would not allow us as Platinum members to check in before 4 p.m. because they were still cleaning rooms. We find it hard to believe that at 2:45 p.m. that they did not have a single room available. We came back a few minutes after 4 and when I asked about express check-in for Platinum members, they said they were not doing it. We waited for an hour to check in (part of it was outside in the 20 degree weather.) The guests in line were openly drinking and getting drunk. March 2, 2015

We were upgraded to a very spacious suite due to being a platinum elite member. The suite was large and had a full kitchen. The breakfast area was great with some great choices. We had a small issue with cleanliness but the hotel immediately rectified it, offered a better room etc... We choose to stay in our room as it wasn't a huge deal. Great downtown hotel!! I'd love to return in the future! Thank you February 26, 2015
