Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Biggest problem is smoke smell We have stayed here a few times because this hotel is very close to our son's house. However, the smoke smell was really bad this time and we may not stay again. We noticed that all of the hotel help smoke right at the doors with the doors propped open...so they can stay cool and the smoke can all be sucked into the interior of the hotel. I am sure management is aware of this since It is so obvious to us as guests. Therefore, complaining did not seem worth it. However, we think Corporate should be aware that the NO smoking policy is being very, very loosely enforced. There are ash trays full of butts at the entrances as well -- not much of a welcome! Smoking should be away from the entrances and management should have some sort of covered shelter so the workers can smoke away from the guests an out of the hot South Carolina sun! August 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Stay My daughter and I stayed briefly at the Holiday inn in Greenwood and were happy we chose that hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in good condition and the rooms were spacious and well equiped. We slept comfortably in our two queen sized beds. Would definitely recommend and stay again. July 31, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Getting old The staff is excellent, proficient and very friendly. This property is getting to the point of needing some major renovation. It is beginning to look like a second-rate hotel out of the eighties. We have stayed here many times and were disappointed with the "wearing down" of the furniture, carpeting, etc. This property is overpriced for what one gets. But, even after all my comments, I can say that I would recommend it if someone asked--only because the staff tries to make you as comfortable as they can. July 16, 2014
