Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express is excellent... as always! In my travel experience (21 states in the last 12 months), Holiday Inn Express is consistently great. I have stayed in these hotels all over America- East coast, West coast, Midwest.... all over. I choose them as much as possible, because they are clean, the facilities are always in good shape (if not new looking), the costs are always reasonable, and the staff is always friendly. We recently stayed in the HIE in Greer, SC. Maybe not quite as "new" looking as most of the others (most of the HIE properties look brand new.... this one in Greer SC looks a little dated, which is unusual). But as always, it was a good experience. Super nice staff, very helpful, clean room, good breakfast food, fast internet.... What's not to like?! January 18, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Impressed Felt like they put a Holiday Inn sign on a Cheaper Brand hotel. Staff was very nice. Sofa in the room was old and sinking. Heating and air unit was not great. Just kind of an old dingy room. Internet was spotty. The whole place needs a face lift. I will find somewhere else to stay next time I am in town. January 16, 2016

PROS- - Great price - Lots of fast food options within walking distance - Clean, quiet and fresh - Friendly staff as I mentioned already -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONS - - Parking can be a little tight - I didn't get refills of all my toiletries each day. It was "selective". I.E- No in room coffee the first night, didn't get mouthwash and stuff randomly through the week, only 1 bar of soap was replenished etc. Overall, the complains are extremely minor but I'd stay here again without question. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Poor Housekeeping This was our second time staying at Holiday Inn Express in Greer. The front desk staff was wonderful; courteous, friendly and welcoming. After our first nights stay, the housekeeping staff performed poorly. Our bathtub wasn't cleaned; it had long hair in it that wasn't mine or my husband's color. We didn't receive any replacement toilet paper and ran out by the next morning. And our mini coffee maker was replaced with a Keurig, which would have been fantastic, but we were left with one regular K-cup and one caffeine-free K-cup for two adults with no cream or sugar; not a fun morning. We will try the hotel again because it's location is convenient and the price is ok. But we'll be sure to bring this experience to the front desk staff's attention so they can monitor housekeeping's performance. December 12, 2015
