Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for the price We stayed in Medford and in Portland area during our trip. Our rooms were comparable but the bathrooms weren't. The bathroom in Portland had much better lighting over the shower. The bathroom in Medford had only a lightbar over the sink area which left the shower area very dimly lighted. The curtains (sheers) were too long and when the A/C is on, the air blows under the curtains causing them to billow out. Most of the air goes up and into the window area instead of out into the room. The A/C still kept the room cool but not as efficiently. The TV set had a problem with the volume. Occasionally when the channel was changed, the sound was lost and couldn't be turned back on without turning the TV off and on again. July 25, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Comfortable, but cramped room We found the double queen room barely adequate in size (for only 2 people). Only one "usable" chair as the second one was stuffed in a dark corner and there was not space to move it. Service from all staff members was excellent and facility was clean and in good repair. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabulous staff and very clean We stayed there for three nights and the staff was fantastic! Nothing was ever a problem for them. Our sons loved having a full breakfast to choose from, and honestly, I was really happy to have that option as it offset the room price for me a bit. My only issue was that housekeeping kept not giving us enough towels in our room, but that was easily fixed with a call to the front desk. AnneMarie was the manager we dealt most with and she treated us like friends, not guests. I'd highly recommend this location. Easy access to everything Medford has to offer. July 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by economical choice for Medford Overall it's usually a good experience ... rather goofy front desk clerk was focused on providing what she felt to be terribly funny chatter. Not fully trained on how to scan key for entry into room...and I needed to go back to the lobby and request it to be done again. This is one thing I do find annoying and like it best when there is a phone available on the floor and the clerk can run up with a properly "keyed" key. Over all, beds are comfortable, air conditioning adequate and room clean. Compared to more expensive properties in the area, this is a great bang for the buck. July 21, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Small handicapped accessible room. The hotel was clean and cheerful. Staff was attentive and helpful, especially the breakfast lady. The handicapped accessible room was too small for a motorized wheelchair. My husband could barely go between the foot of the bed and the entertainment cabinet. The bathroom was large enough and the roll-in shower was adequate. The soda and ice machines were right across the hall and noisy. Also the public guest restroom was next to the room. July 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Travel with Boy Scouts We had a great overnight stay in Medford with our Boy Scout Troop traveling north to British Columbia, Canada for a canoeing trip at Bowron Lakes. The Scouts, leaders and families had positive comments about our stay. July 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Right Time and Place We needed to decide on driving further late in the day and saw the Inn next to where we had stopped. Just the location and the our experience with other Holiday Inn Expresses made the decision easy. It was a good decision! July 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value We stayed here while on a vacation to Washington. Great price for our room. We always enjoy the breakfast each morning. The staff was friendly and willing to help with questions about the local area. We will be back again. July 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding Great hotel and it was easy to book. The front desk was very helpful with our two rooms. The room was clean and well appointed. We had a suite and it accommodated the three of us nicely. My son had a king room and was very happy with it. Nice July 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel Clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast proved to be a welcome surprise after staying at multiple other establishments. Quality and quantity of food was considerably better than many of the restaurants we visited on our 6800 mile journey. July 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OVERALL APPEARANCE OF EXTERIOR AND LOBBY AREA POOR The exterior was blah, unattractive, color of everything seemed gray. No real landscaping or color. Lobby are VERY sterile and uninviting. I expected the room to be similar and was relieved when it was adequately decorated and inviting. Based on the outward appearance only, I would not stay here again. June 30, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by too much noise in disability room beware 0f room 215 If you have disabilities being deaf would be the only reason to stay in room 215 it is fraught with humming noises from the pool below. June 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and comfortable The staff was wonderful and the facility clean including the room and common areas. When we travel, I get somewhat overwhelmed concerning the cleanliness of hotel rooms. This hotel met all my expectations. I recommend this hotel! June 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice We always look forward to our nights in a Holiday Inn Express and this one was no exception. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the room was clean and nice as always. June 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A fine place to stay Stayed 3 nights and had a pleasant stay, the place was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly. June 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great visit A nice and quiet stop after a long day. We walked to a fish restaurant and had an incredible meal. Great stop for a smaller hotel. June 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room and great staff I had a 2 night stay. The room was roomy and very comfortable. On checking the staff were smiling and greeted me while waiting on others ahead of me. I will definitely go back to this hotel when traveling to Medford for work or play. May 19, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Platinum Member First I completely enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Express, I have stayed 52 nights this year for business. I called the hotel the day of my arrival ti inform them I would be arriving late, once I did arrive they gave my room away. Once I was checked into a room I had to go back to the front desk to get the key programmed, neither would open the door. When I checked out the computer was done the man at the counter said he would email it to me. After calling later that day the same person said he did and would send it again, I still did not receive it, I called again and spoke to young man this time who was very helpful, he emailed it to me and I received it within a few moments. Over I wasn't happy with the staff but the accommodations were up ti IGH standards, housekeeping did a great job. This was my experience and I'm not sure if I would use this location again. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very clean The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the stay. However, the breakfast was next to inedible. Not even a banana. April 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Quiet and comfortable We stay at theis hotel whenever we travel thru Medford and have to stay overnight. We like the location, the friendliness and the excellent general quality of the hotel. March 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Well Located. Location is the Best! Everything is nearby. Clean Hotel and Helpful staff. January 26, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by thin walls and a lot of noise I am a gold elite member and find Holiday Inns normally very good Medford is a newer building with a very nice staff. I was shocked to hear every door open and close, the alarm in the next room go off and people talking in the hall. I did not get much sleep at all. If quiet is important to you, don't stay at this Holiday Inn January 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Stop on our Travels This is a nice hotel off HWY 5 . Good fish restaurant and stores behind and around this Hotel. The person at the front desk was very helpful in recommending a place to eat, which was behind the hotel in the shopping center. Had a good fish dinner. December 31, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to Stay We stay at the Medford Holiday Inn Express often to visit my grandchildren and to shop at Fred Meyer's. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is awesome. December 31, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! November 15, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Think before you stay This is a copy of a letter I sent to the GM. The response?? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! My husband and I stayed in your hotel on 9/27/13. When we checked in we were told that there were quite a few vacancies and other then an antique show in town (expecting a pretty quiet cliental) our room would be removed from elevator and stairway noise. That was what we asked for and that was our expectation. We had driven all day and our lights were out and we were asleep at 10 pm. We had another long drive in front of us the following day too. Suddenly, noise surrounds us! Doors slamming, kids yelling. To my dismay they were only dropping their bags in their rooms and would return again later. And they did. Only this time it was far worse. They are carrying on in the halls like we are in a dorm that they can party all night long. I finally got out of bed and opening the door yelled at them that "people were sleeping in here". Even after I am back in bed there is still noise and pounding on doors and a boy yelling "douche bag, let me in". REALLY! And that is what we should expect after 12 am? We frequently travel on business and every time stay in a Holiday Inn Express and have always been happy with it. Not this time. I have raised sons and am currently assisting in raising a grandson. I know what to expect of kids but I think the hotel is accountable for misconduct in the following 1. They should NEVER have been grouped together in the hotel. It gave them the dorm mentality with no expectations that they are surrounded by people who might not want to join in all their hilarity, pranks, and cussing. 2.They checked in very late (after 11) and should have been informed, when they arrived in group, so late that they need to keep the level of noise down.. 3.When they arrived back, in group, after being out together they most certainly went through the lobby and into the elevators or stairways making a level of noise that should not be acceptable. They hit the 4th floor in full party mode. An adult could have politely but firmly reminded them that people were already asleep and to please respect them. Obviously no adult took that position with them. The whole situation could have been gently avoided with a few words to them as they passed through the lobby. I do not think they did what they did maliciously. They are kids and kids are loud and playful but can be guided into correct behavior. I think that Holiday Inn Express mishandled the whole situation. I do not expect to be in Medford any time soon but if I were to be I would certainly not stay at the Holiday inn Express November 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy bed and appreciated the upgrade As a Platinum member (husband frequently stays at HI Express) we appreciated a room upgrade (to a suite) and the acknowledgment and thanks for our business. Hotel is nice, clean and updated. Located right behind Harry and David's store. Very quiet and comfortable. We booked two rooms and they were great about putting them close together. Parking lot well lit. Would choose to stay there again. November 4, 2013
October 30, 2013
