Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Time Stay - excellent This was my first time staying at the HIE in Medford. I have stayed at many other locations, and this hotel very much, meets the excellent standard of any HIE. The staff was very friendly and professional, even giving us some restaurant recommendations for our dinner meal. The breakfast area is a bit small, but was adequate. Hotel is well maintained, and easy to access from the freeway. When in Medford on future business trips, I will stay at this hotel again. February 8, 2016

The room and building was in good condition the room was clean and comfortable the pool although small was better than expected The Registration desk required the customer to call on the telephone to have some one come out when I checked in at 4PM and checked out at 7AM although an irritant the staff was friendly and efficient. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Treatment This stay (February) was superior to the stay at the same Express in January. For some unknown reason the staff in January were quite cold whereas the staff in February were much warmer. In January My wife and I could not make reservations due a medical procedure change that required us to stay unexpectedly. We were not recognized as members and the staff seemed rather irritated. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by front desk made a mistake about the bill I stayed on Jan 11, 2016, when I checked in I told the staff that I would pay in cash, because I came from Canada, I didn't want to use my Canadian credit card. When I check out, I gave them cash and mentioned it again I didn't want use my credit card. However, after a few days, I found they charged my credit card, and they got my cash also. I called them immediately, because of the exchange rate, I paid a lot CAD, even though they refund the money back to my card, I still lost 3%. When I called the front desk staff, she said the manager would fix this problem, refund the money, give me some points and even a free night to make it up, she would call me soon. But around 20 days later, nobody contact me, no apologies at all. I am not satisfied with their service. I always stay with holiday inn, the hotel is good, but the service need to be improved!!!
