The facilities are so terrific that we actually wanted to stay another night after we experienced the room. Unfortunately, you were booked so that wasn't possible. We had only three issues with your hotel: 1) Getting there, with construction on the bridge and an entrance that required us to do a U-turn to use; 2) Front desk clerk so unfamiliar with the area that she couldn't make any restaurant suggestions or provide directions; and 3) During the reservation process, we were bounced from your hotel to the national reservation number back to the hotel only to be told that your advertised senior rate was unavailable. This was several weeks before our stay and we are Priority Club members. On the plus side, the room was large and clean and had plenty of outlets. The shower needed a bath mat or something on the bottom of the tub to make it less slippery, but we loved the separate sink area and the bar sink in the area with the refrigerator and microwave. We would definitely stay here again -- especially if your advertised senior rates are actually available.

Had the misfortune of staying in this hotel 10 nights, Don't bother being a club member as they do not care,( Gold Elite Member), When I checked in was given a room on the bottom floor not the Club Floor. the Cookies up front were store bought and hard , not the fresh ones i get at other holiday inn express's, the front desk staff could not answer even the simple questions about what to see in the area. The coffee on check out was cold in the front desk area . this could be a good place but lack of training in customer servce is the standard. And the trash truck is your 5am wake up .

This is the nicest Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed at. The breakfast area has zero plastic services settings. Porcelain bowls, and plates, and real spoons, forks and knifes. One would think they were at a full service hotel. Quite and clean. When in Mentor this is the place to stay.

This is a very comfortable room and very upnto date. I enjoyed everything except the breakfast choices. But in saying that the cinamon roll was the best of all.

Here on a company training trip 28 nights , was in a hanicap room right next to the lift for upstairs noise all night, when I asked for a different room , at first i was told that they were full but check back later, tryed again to move rooms do to the trash truck at 5am each morning dumping right outside my window, this time i was told that because my company booked the room i could not move . Each time i checked with the front desk I was told something different if not out right lies, to add insult to this they offered to move me on the last 4 days of my trip only if i would pay more for the new room. this came from the manager on duty. They was never any effort to find me a Gold member a better room as i saw many rooms over my stay that changed over people many times. I do not feel that the staff of the hotel really cares about there guests.

We've stayed before with better service and attention to detail. Maybe an off week/weekend visit. I don't know but it seemed from the time we stayed until we left one thing or another was a bother. First, and finally, a receptionist asked if I would like to join their Priority Club. O'course I would, as we've been going there for about 3-4 years now and surely we could of used it by now. She said she'd bring up to room our application information , which she did not. I had to go down and get. Our room temperature could not be regulated. Stayed the same temperature, which was to cool for winter weather. The breakfast food was not warm enough. Lastly, the card key kept not working, on outside door or our room. Very inconvenient since our room was on the second floor. So, with all these annoyances and expensive locked-in-price, I will have to think twice about going here again.

If you are a priority member this hotel does not recognize you as such. Most Holiday Inns gives their members a welcome package or some sort of gratitude for member priority. This hotel is welcome, here is your key, pay your bill. Give rooms to families with small kids on top floor where they run up and down the halls and singles on the lower level. If it wasn't for the job I wouldn't stay at this hotel ever again.

Beautiful hotel, large rooms, and the beds were comfortable and had no trouble falling asleep. I definitely plan on returning the next time I am in this area for business.

This hotel surprised me for a Holiday Inn, I expect decent but this place was immaculate inside, the staff and the breakfast were great.
Debora was a great help in setting up the reservation. I would definitely stay here again. They even had a lounge set up for the business travelers after work.

This hotel has always treated myself and my husband with excellent customer service, clean and updated comforatabel rooms for a better price than the near-by Hampton Inn. I am mainly an Hilton customer but this hotel will always be recommended to others by myself and my husband. This trip was over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The front desk staff was very welcoming even though they had to work on the holiday. I appreciate that. We highly recommend it for any travels in the northeast Ohio area.

We stayed here as our children were playing soccer locally. The hotel was clean, comfortable and all we expect from a hotel. The pool was great and the staff was excellent.

I have been staying at this hotel for at least 9 years and wouldn't stay at another HOTEL if they were full. I would and have rearranged my schedule for the next week in order to stay at this hotel.
They have the best and most well kept hotel in the industry. The General Manager and her staff are SECOND TO NONE!!!! The owners always make it a point to come by and say hello every night around check in time.
They deserve any and every award that's available from Holiday Inn that has to do with TAKEING CARE OF CUSTOMERS. I make this statement because that's what I do for a living is to TEACH AND REMIND EMPLOYEES HOW TO TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMERS so that they return because of the great experience they enjoyed.

If you want to experience a staff who makes one feel like royalty, go to the Mentor, Holiday Inn. Not a bad thing to say about the place. (A little tricky to turn into, be careful), but definately worth the challange. Some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet.

This was the second time that we stayed here for a visit to Cleveland. Even though a large wedding party was checking in at the time we arrived and it took a few minutes to get attended to, the staff is always professional, friendly, and courteous. Rooms are SUPER CLEAN and has many amenities to offer such as indoor swimming pool. Kid friendly and close to several eateries that are within walking distance. Young lady at front desk was not sure about different restaurants nearby, but she admitted that she was not familiar with the immediate area. Information book in room could be updated, but that is about the only area that they fell short. We would definitely stay here again when coming to the Cleveland area.

Entrance was on the side, not in front. Breakfast was at the back of the hotel no where near the desk. Rooms had an odd layout also.
