The apple juice was just as bad, sour and undrinkable. After that, I dared not tried the breakfast that was sitting for who knows how long. May 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff! Awesome Shower I got a kick out of the desk lady telling me I last stayed there in Aug 2008 and they weren't expecting me yet ! To a person, the staff is courteous and friendly. Loved the silky soft water and fantastic water pressure. Made me want to stay in the shower much longer than I had time for. Great breakfast choices. It was fun playing with the pancake machine. Appreciated the sugar-free syrup being available. May 22, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average Upon my arrival I had to walk through a cloud of smoke from the smokers standing right at the entrance under the small roof due to the rain. I had no internet access for 90% of my two night stay. The clerk at the front desk said she didn't know what I should do. When I finally got a number for tech support, 3 calls, 3 technicians and 3 to 4 hours later I still had no access. I didn't hear one thing from the hotel staff itself. This is not what I am use to from Holiday Inn Express. May 20, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Beds I arrived late and there was a large crew (employees/contractors) milling around and complaining. It took about five minutes to be waited on at the desk as no one was attending to it. When the lady did come up she was frustrated and did not mention my platinum status. When I asked for a complimentary bottle water she looked so confused and stated that they did not have any. I walked to the elevator and the halls were filled with mattresses; seemed like they were being switched out. At this point I put my baggage in the room and decided to get a snack from the vending machine and go to bed. Went downstairs and vending machine was empty with a note stating thank you for the business and another company would be taking over. I have stayed here before and it was satisfactory but I will probably pick another local property on my next trip. March 8, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Up date needed. Hotel needs update. The heater was hard to regulate. Dirty socks found in the corner, which tells me the room was not vacuumed thoroughly after the last guest. The business center is placed near front door; this can be very distracting. On a positive note, the person at the front desk was friendly. February 28, 2014

The desk clerk that checked us in was very nice and friendly, her name was Theresa. She should be a very valued employee! After being on the road all day it is very refreshing to be treated so kindly. Our room was clean and relaxing. Breakfast was wonderful. January 19, 2014

We were not greeted as platinum members and there was no special treat we usually get at other facilities like a bottle of water, snack or chocolate, but the desk clerk was very friendly. Would recommend this facility to others. December 3, 2013

Priority member....and our 12th visit to this particular Holiday might think I would warrent at least a bottle of Not even a mention of the game standing next to me. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Little run-down; unprofessional staff I've stayed at a lot of IHG properties (mainly HIE's) and this one is not at the top of my list. The parking lot was very small/tight. The rooms had a very musty smell to them. Their furniture was obviously second-rate. Like most hotels have additional plug-ins at the base of their lamps; these didn't. Aside from that, their staff was not exactly efficient and neither were they professional. It took me about 10 minutes to check in and no one else was even in the lobby. One lady was on the phone with a guy who wanted to make a reservation and although the lady wasn't rude to me, she continued to just stay on the phone. A second lady walked in and was in no rush to help me check in. In fact, we hadda wait for the computer to be turned on. Yes, the computer was not turned on and it was in the middle of the day. Then the 1st lady got off the phone and helped her checked me in. There was checking slips of paper to make sure rooms were cleaned (this was after check-in time, mind you) and then there was conversation going on between the difference in responsibilities of one shift and the next between the two ladies. The 2nd lady had stains/winkles on her shirt and was not wearing her sash (as pointed out by the first lady). I just wanted to check-in and be done. I didn't need the extra side show. They weren't rude, but they weren't professional. Later that night I noticed two hotel employees were smoking outside and didn't help a customer in the lobby until after it was pointed out to them. At least one of the individuals smoking was supposed to be working the front desk. I think they could do better at training their employees and express the importance of appearance. They should also give a good clean down of the rooms to get rid of that musty smell. October 21, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Just "ok" I usually like Holiday Inn Express but this one was a little rough for us. I think it was, mostly, because of the room location #room 107#. It was across from an ice machine that leaked water all night like a nice little babbling stream. It was also across from the breakfast area in the lobby and two drunk guys yelling a conversation kept us up most of the night until I walked out into the hall in my pajamas and asked them to be quiet. I kept hoping the front desk would say something to them since they were within eye and ear shot of them. The room was run down, as well, for a Holiday Inn. The door handle was loose in the bathroom, which was kind of janky. All and all not the best experience. October 18, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Getting old The pop/water vending machine was inop for several days - we did not see it work. There was no pop or water in the rooms and only one pop/water vending machine. If you complained, the front desk gave you one water. Wasn't quite what I expected for a H.I. Express at over a hundred per night. Rooms are getting old and out dated. There was only two available plugs in the room for our use. We had to unplug the alarm clock and the microwave in order to plug in what we needed. First night, when we checked in, we got the last parking spot at the Holiday Inn. I suspect some guests had to park elsewhere. Bed had only sheet and a heavy comforter. It was impossible to sleep without sweating or freezing. I think they forgot to change the blankets after winter. August 20, 2013
