Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, im Bank- Viertel. Man erreicht Hafen und Brooklyn Bridge zu Fuß. Frühstück ist in Ordnung. Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jenny'smom Great experience!
My husband, daughter, and I stayed at the hotel last weekend, and we were so pleased by how spacious (for NYC), clean, and comfortable our room was. The front desk staff were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, and very friendly, and although the hotel is a fair cab ride away from Times Square, it was nice to be in an area that was a bit quieter and less congested. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, and will stay there again when we return.

The hotel is a noisy option. I was woken by maintenance staff because they misread the ticket from the front desk. I had trouble sleeping on the Water Street side of the building because of all of the traffic and noise on the street. There is a Holiday Inn a few blocks away that is a better alternative.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by David V Awful
I stay in a hundred hotel rooms a year, and this was easily the worst. Tiny (but that is lower Manhattan) and LOUD. HVAC unitl sounds like an aircraft engine, plumbing and street noise all night long.
Fitness center appears to be a remodeled broom closet in the basement. 3 pieces of equipment, 1/2 a dumbell set, zero air flow and it smells.
Value is particularly poor compared to other area hotels.
The lady who serves breakfast here is terrific. An oasis in this desert.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ManOfSteel What Temperature Control?
Either way too hot or way too cold and very difficult managing the inbetween. When the heat/air kicks in, be ready for the freight train rumbling for your room with a wind storm to mess your hair up right behind it. Also, if you're tall like me, expect your feet to dangle over the end of the "king size" bed by a good foot. You'll have to sleep sideways and don't even think about sharing the bed, especially with another tall person. There are much better hotel options than this in the area for the price.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by BadStayIowan Roach Infested and No Room At the Inn
Let me just highlight our 3 night stay:
1st night - Suite was given away - Brought a bed to our tiny room and we couldn't sleep on it because the springs were poking through and it hurt our back so bad we couldn't even lay on it. Brought us another bed and there was a roach that crawled out of it. All three of us ended up sleeping together in one bed that night.
2nd day - No breakfast. 45 minutes left in the breakfast service and the cook had picked up all of the breakfast and had stopped serving. He said that it was done. Everyone was complaining and hungry. Manager asked him to make eggs for guests. He told us it would be 30 minutes. Then he yelled at us when we didn't want to wait that long because he had to be somewhere.
3rd day - Roaches in the lobby. Sat bag down to wait for cab and roaches crawled on my bag. Dead bugs under the bench in lobby.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jmft2000 Comfortable hotel, great location!
Nice and clean hotel located in the best area of Manhattan, in the middle of the financial center.
Parking a bit expensive and about 2 blocks from the hotel, but this is common for all hotels in the area. It is kind of the price you have to pay for being in the heart of manhattan.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stinky Bama Front Desk Not Informed About Room Availability
I had a confirmed reservation, but the credit card used to hold the reservation was cancelled because it was hacked. So the reservation was cancelled before I arrived at the hotel, because it was held with a "bad" credit card..
When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk attendant and supervisor both informed me that my reservation was cancelled. They also told me that the hotel was full for that night and that I would need to stay elsewhere.
They tried to find me a room for the night elsewhere in the area and made a number of calls, but neighboring hotels were full. After 20 minutes of futile calls, I had the idea of going online myself to find a hotel room. To my surprise, I was able to book a room online at this hotel (Holiday Inn Express-Wall Street) for that night, even though the hotel front desk and supervisor told me that the hotel was full!
In my opinion, the front desk staff should have offered me a room, even though my original reservation was cancelled, because rooms were freely available to the general public through the internet. I'm really surprised and disappointed that the staff didn't have all of the facts about their own hotel! I can't recommend a hotel with such bad knowledge of their own business.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tourist in my own town Great location
Stayed here three nights during a girls weekend. I was a "tourist in my own town " with my out of town girlfriends.
The staff was exceptional except for the gentleman who checked me and was condescending about my Rewards Status. I had made an error on a reservation and instead of helping me resolve it made a snide comment about me being "BASIC"....Really? Great way to keep me coming back...
The manager on duty with the lovely British accent helped me get it resolved. All of the other front desk staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and it was a pleasant stay.
The lovely lady who takes care of the breakfast room is very hardworking and pleasant.
Walking distance to many things and close to the subway.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mom2Boys99 Comfortable bed but loud area
I stayed in room 401 which is right near the stairwell door. The number of times the door opened and closed during the night surpassed my expectations. The staff closet is to the right of the room and about 2:30 each morning the cart would come to be loaded so on and off the elevator, rolling the wheels over the threshold, to the closet where they chatted with each other like it was 8am. Overall I loved the location and the cleanliness, but was never able to get a full night's sleep in this room. That said, I would stay again just request a different room away from the stairwell and storage closet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Italy76 Nice vacation in New York
Room was clean and comfortable, staff was always helpful and smiling, breakfast included and plenty, free wifi connection was good enough in the room to check emails and web through iPhone.
The hotel is located in the heart of financial district, very hectic area during working days but extremely quiet at evenings and week-ends, it is anyway next to Wall Street subway stations.
Temperature in the room was easy to regulate but heating/aircon was very noisy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cashimee Great Service, Staff, and Location
Was in town for business and stayed @ this hotel. Rooms was a bit smaller than I am used to, but for NY City it works. Staff was very professional and bent over backwards to accommodate me. For a continental breakfast..the spread was excellent and always fresh. My only issue was the hustle and bustle noise from the streets...but that is the big city and staff cant fixed that. Perhaps a room at a higher level may help.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by PT76 COLD !!
If my. company hadn't made the reservation, I'd have left after the first night. Even with the thermostat set on 80+ F, I had to wear multiple layers of clothing (once had to run hot water in the tub to re warm my feet) just to keep warm. The very loud heater blew as much cold air as warm; its positioning made it most uncomfortable to use the desk, as it blew very strongly into my ear when seated. The staff was quite nice but unable to solve this problem. Breakfast was a notable "high point" - probably the best variety and the friendliest person I have ever seen at any hotel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DCTraveller21 A Good Night's Stay
This is a great hotel and I had a wonderful night's stay. To have breakfast included was a major treat! The staff was extremely friendly - from giving dinner recommendations to being very friendly in the dining room. There was even a small gym - which was great to get a cardio exercise in. Both the gym and breakfast were all complimentary - a service not frequently found in NYC hotels!! So this was a great place for my stay! Though the room is not spacious, it was all that was needed for a night's stay.

I arrived late to the hotel on a Monday night. I was told that my room had been upgraded as I was selected as "guest of the day"! Hooray!
I was pleasantly surprised by the generosity, friendly staff, and clean room. Really enjoyed the cinnamon rolls at breakfast that were still warm-yum! And also appreciated the healthy choices too.
Restaurants right down the street on Maiden were plentiful and good!
Will stay here again on my next trip to the financial district.

I was looking for a great hotel for a cheap price (2 nights) and I found it! This is a cute hotel with a GREAT location! I was walking distance from the NY Stock Exchange and a ton of cute spots to eat and relax. The only down sides were the smaller room and the loud marathon that took place in front of the hotel on Sunday morning. Otherwise, I will stay again.
