We were in town for a funeral. They let us check in early and were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and breakfast was sufficient.

Staff was excellent, and my room was extremely clean. Breakfast options were very good too. Only had 3-4 nights of restless sleep due to kids constantly running up and down the hallways, and jumping off beds which made it sound like they were coming through the ceiling. Staff could have been a bit more attentive to this issue, especially since all the activity (kids running around) was always after 10pm.

I arrived with my confirmation number after midnight, and was told they did not have a room for me. They had my confirmation, but were unable to explain why they accepted my reservation while not having a room. A call to the manager produced apologies, but no explanation and no room. As I turned to go look for somewhere to sleep, they offered me a smoking room that was closed for renovations for a reduced rate, about 20% off. Big deal. Evidently, I was expected to think that that was a bargain to spend the night in a smelly, shabby room.
To top off the experience, I got up early to get work done, and found the wi- fi did not work. The front desk said they had someone coming to service it.

When I arrived the room thermostat was set to high heat, Had to run AC for 45 minutes, in February? Then the remote did not work, Desk brought two more which did not work either. The worst was that the WiFi did not work in the morning, I left at 9:30 and it was still down, affecting TV as well. This was the worst stay at an IHG property I can ever remember. I will not be back.

The staff was great! Clean and nice place. Unfortunately, Holiday Inn corporate would not grant me my reward points because my employer booked through a third party. I hate Holiday Inn now. I will just stay at whatever hotel is closest from now on.
