Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great place to stop I have stopped here on a number of occasions because of the fact that they accomodate pets and also are near a field where pets can run. Many hotels proport to take pets but have no accomodations for exercise or "personal business". The staff is always very pleasant and accomodating. The facility is clean and comfortable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly service, convenient location. Very nice one night stay. Close to Split Pea Anderson's for a nice dinner. The only problem we had was getting on the internet. Never could connect. No problems in other hotels before and after here. Some glitch in their system that even the "kids" at the front desk didn't understand. Other than that, great stay. Intimidated into leaving early. They have never heard of platinum ambassador, something that is paid for. This hotel should be dumped from the Holiday Inn chain. October 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really good room and cinnamon rolls to die for This was one of the best motels we have ever stayed in. We felt secure and safe, and the room was very comfortable, except for the fact that it had only 1 really comfortable chair for watching television. The king bed was very restful. There was a small problem with the TV pixeling on a few channels, but that can happen with satellite feed. The biscuits and sausage gravy in the breakfast room was WONDERFUL and the thick cinnamon rolls were the best ANYWHERE. As I said in the title, they were "to die for". I'm so happy that they can be ordered online and shipped to my home. Thank you for a great experience! October 9, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness of room We arrived pretty late at around 1am but there's was no one at the desk and waited 10 min for staff to show up. The bed sheet in the room I suspect it was not cleaned after the previous customer left. There's human hair, sand & dust on the sheets. I was not able to relax in the bed due to the tidiness quality. We checked in very late and I didn't bother to request change. I sanitize the bed with my Lysol spray and slept with my clothes on on top of the bed and cover myself with bath towels. This is the worst night I ever had with Holiday Inn. September 25, 2013

The room is very comfortable and Breakfast is just perfect. We get a good night of rest so we can continue our journey. September 24, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the best places to stay. Every time we go past Santa Nella we stay at this Holiday Inn Express. It is so nice. It's comfortable, the rooms are clean and relaxing with microwave, fridge and overhead fan (which I love). The breakfasts are really delicious and there are a lot of items to choose from. Finally, the staff is always cheerful, helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here. September 19, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Basic Room, but not up to Holiday Inn Express Standards I have staying in many holiday Inn Express and this was not close to the others in comfort and amenities. Older property, obtained by Holiday Inn 20 years ago, per front desk. Could it be the same furniture? Probably the best in this area, but if you are used to Holiday Inn Express standards don't expect it here. I thought the days of digging behind a nightstand to plug in my phone were over, not here. Even found an extension cord so they could plug things in. Noisiest hotel I have been in awhile, paper thin walls. I understand I was near the ice maker, but that wasn't the irritating noise. Nice pool, but would have been more comfortable if it was clean. Lots of debris. Maybe it had been windy that day? Because of exterior doors I had to go to the front desk for a receipt and check out. Didn't even try the breakfast, was happy to leave there. I appears that they are doing some work, carpet rolls in lobby and mattresses out back. No way to know if that is all and if I had the new or old. guess that fact that I can't tell says something. September 4, 2013

The desk staff was great, friendly, funny and helpful they changed the room to a first floor making the cat move easier and gave me 2 toothbrushes when I couldn't get access to mind. The room (2 queens) was fine, the bed also fine, the breakfast, fine a theme. It was exactly as advertised and as needed. September 3, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sleepless Night - Great staff This was my second stay at this Holiday Inn Express location this week. On both occasions the staff was extremely courteous and eager to serve. On my 8/27 visit, I was in room 143. Excellent downstairs location with nice proximity to the pool and hot tub. I had an excellent stay, wonderful night's sleep and with zero negative comments. On my 8/30 visit, I was in room 147. Horribly noisy upstairs guests, pounding on the floor until late into the morning hours, and again early in the morning. When it finally stopped, the unstoppable shower faucet dripped constantly all night long. I explained the issues to the front desk clerk at check out, and received and "I'm sorry". The quality of this HI is not to par with other Holiday Inn Expresses around the country. Room insulation, finishing and details. I would NOT stay in another downstairs room again at this location. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Traveling up or down I-5. Great Place to stop Would stop here again on a trip in I-5 heading south from Northern California. Just far enough south of San Francisco so you can spend the day and then leave in the late afternoon or early evening. The hotel is clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful and friendly. just what you are looking for when you're on the road and need a place to stay and relax after a long day of traveling. August 24, 2013

We stayed two other hotels this last trip one of which was IHG and I was surprised that the other IHG hotel did not have a comfortable mattress even though there was an upgrade. The breakfast was very good and the only problem we had was ants in bathroom in the one room. But, the staff came over immediately and sprayed and brought clean towels. The room was great (for example: clean, comfortable beds, wonderful air conditioning in 104 degree temperature that did not go on and off throughout day and night like most hotels). What made the stay different was that on the day after our arrival we had a medical emergency with my father, who was traveling with us. After calling 911 Jimmy, the young front desk manager, ran out to help. He was First Aid trained and ready to help my girlfriend and I as we waited in the sweltering heat for the ambulance. He waited next to my father and I until the paramedics arrived and we left for the hospital. Later that day as we returned from the emergency room, Jimmy was at the front desk to greet us. Not only did he ask how my father was doing but he had snack bags of food along with bottled water ready for knowing that we hadn’t eaten since we left for the hospital. I would like to say that Jimmy spells his name in a unique fashion and I apologize for not spelling it correctly. It humbles me that I do not remember how he spells his name. However, neither my girlfriend or I will ever forget the kindness, compassion, and attention he gave to my father and then to us as we returned that night. July 10, 2013

We were so impressed, especially with the breakfast, that we now make an effort to find HIEs whenever we are traveling, and we stop at this specific one when we drive from OR to CA. As others have said, the mission style layout is nice. It is also decorated like a French village inside. The pool is, indeed, large for a hotel pool, and both adults and children use it. The breakfast is wonderful and the service polite. As a Rewards Club Member, being greeted with a bottle of water on a 105 degree day this time was a definite pleasure! July 3, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor service we got a room that was making noise in the bathroom and we had to change room the counter person they aware of the sound but thought it had being fixed maybe better they should have know it was fix before giving us the room. it was 90 degree out and the ice machine were broken the female counter who check us in was unfriendly and did not know the area. the male counter person check us out made us wait 10 min. well he got his food and was very unfriendly. we have always had good experience with our stay with you and was going to use you coming back but stay at a diffent hotel we were also going use you in L.A. but stay at a diffent hotel. Breakfast was broad in options and made up of quality ingredients, especially the orange juice.and last, the bed provided a grreat night's sleep after a journey of over 600 miles to get there. Beds are very comfortable & in room climate control system functions very well. Enjoy looking at palm trees surrounding the pool & the spanish/mission type archetecture of the hotel. June 10, 2013
