Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by uncomfortable stay The airconditioner/heater temperature settings were out. Why should it take more than one day stay to figure out right settings? should this not be standard settings for temperature? heater or AC should work on standard temperature settings. i.e if it is colder than set temperature, heater should get switched on and if it is warmer than tempreature setting, AC should get switched on. The required number of electrical outlets were less than normally available in hotels. i.e. no electrical outlet availabel for phone near the bed without disconnecting lamp holder or clock. We had very low water pressure in the shower and one of the light grates was missing in the bathroom, but everything was very clean. There were plenty of accessible electric outlets and free WiFi. What we really appreciated was the lady that was tending the breakfast bar. Everything was kept fresh and the dining room was kept clean. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the standard fare, but good and filling. I highly recommend this hotel. March 18, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by OK for a quick stop over The front desk and breakfast staff were extrememly nice and helpful. However, the room wasn't the cleanest I've seen. In the bathroom it looked like there had been water damage behind the toilet and the tiles had never been replaced afterward. The room was also really out of date in terms of the furniture and fridge/microwave combo. It looked like a college dorm somewhat. The nightstand had the hindge broken off. All in all, it's A OK for a quick one night stop over, but I wouldn't want to stay many nights there in the room I was in. March 11, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy Room Room was right next to the elevator but worse was the duct work right outside the door running in the ceiling into the bath. It vibrated very loudly in the bathroom and into the bedroom all night long. Not much sleep even with earplugs. March 4, 2013

Ms. Elizabeth adds a special touch of home with her wonderful breakfast service and Front Desk Staff went ouot of their way to assure I was comfortable. As usual with Holiday Inn Express, the room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The fridge and microwave were great too! The bed and pillows were comfy and it is nice to have different levels of firmness to choose from. The upgraded me (no charge) to a jacuzzi tub room, which I thoroughly enjoyed! The hotel wasn't crowded and they allowed me to have a late check-out, which was nice. The breakfast was good - the usual fare - and the lady who was restocking food was very friendly. The woman who checked me in at night was very friendly as well. When I checked out, that woman wasn't rude or anything, but just not as friendly - but who knows, maybe she was having a bad day. This hotel seemed to be in a safe part of town and has plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. February 9, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Simpsonville I like the comfortable pillows for side sleepers. Breakfast was OK. My room was not cleaned as well as I would like. I'm not a neat freak but the microwave door and stains on it that would not come off making it appear very dirty. There were crumbs under the chest of drawers. The fitness center did not have towels or sanitizing wipes to use on the equipment. February 9, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by dirty and nasty the room was dirty and uncomfortable. there is mildew on the shower. there was a substance on the wall next to the toilet that i do not wish to think about. the refrigerator did not work. If it had not been for the fact that I was dead tired and needed the sleep more than anything I would have spent a lot of time telling the manager exactly what I thought of the room. i will not recommend this location to anyone.
