Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Double-booked? Upon check-in, we requested rooms on the same floor and were told that we couldn't be accommodate on one floor. We were given a room on the first floor. When we entered the room, it was still occupied and had not been cleaned. Front desk apologized then offered to put us all on the same floor. Huh? The following day our keys stopped working after 8 am. We all had to get them reactivated. For minute there, we felt we were being chased out. Facilities were decent but needs some upkeep. The location is great and the staff is professional and friendly, but bring your own pillow because even the ones labelled soft will make you dream about boulders. June 17, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, good location, average bed, poor window coverings The Good: The lobby staff, kitchen staff, and housekeeping staff were all excellent. The location is very convenient to downtown Solvang. The rooms were clean, bright, and quiet. The free breakfast options were numerous and continually restocked. The Bad: Although nicely appointed, the bed was not supportive and resulted in daily back pain. The window coverings were dated, slightly ragged, and difficult to operate (frozen almost entire in some cases). The Ugly: The actual hours of their Complimentary Breakfast operation do not jibe with the specific hours they have printed in their in-room guides, which caused multiple members of our event room block to miss breakfast. Do NOT trust the in-room hotel guide schedule (or get used to disappointment). June 17, 2016

It was multi-level and sections so depending on where your room is you need to use your room key to go through multiple security doors. The toilet in our room was not level which was very odd. The air conditioner vent was in the ceiling and directed to blow directly on the bed, and the vents were dirty. June 16, 2016
