Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay! This property understands the importance of good, old fashioned customer service. Everyone we encountered on staff was kind and went out of their way to make our stay a great one. My wife and I joined friends for a celebration of a mutual friend's retirement. They granted our request to have all the rooms grouped closely together. The rooms are freshly refurbished and the place sparkles. All I can say is that management should be retained by some big hotels, so these hotels could learn how to treat guests and have these guests wishing to return. I will not stay anywhere else when I next visit the area. Great job, great property! January 22, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bed was too Soft The lobby was great. The attendents were great. The heat/AC unit was perfect. The room and bathroom were both really clean. the breakfast bar was limited to those with food allergies. Processed boiled eggs? Can't eggs be boiled on site and leave the shells on them? Think about a few non processed foods for those with allergies. The fruit was not great looking and what I did get was green. I picked up 2 bananas -both were green and could not eat for a few days. the bed was way too soft - My back hurt for hours. January 1, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Always thought the Holiday Inn brand meant clean and reliable. Not anymore. I had reserved a room on the IHG website with my member number for a Non-Smoking room. We arrived at about 4:40 p.m. and were checked in by front desk clerk. I received my keys and proceeded to gather our luggage from the car. When we came back into the lobby, a different front desk clerk, with the previous one next to her, said our room was not ready and they would have to put us in another room. She replaced our keys and we went to room. It smelled a bit worse for wear and my girlfriend said she thought it might be cigarette smoke. We did not see ashtrays and and figured it might just be an old room with illegal smokers in the past. After continuing to smell old cigarette smells and observing how yellow the curtains looked, I went to the front desk and asked the clerk (she was the original clerk) whether they might have put us in a smoking room. She shook her head "no". The next morning, I noticed non-smoking symbols on most doors in the hallway except for a few including our door. We were obviously in a smoking room. Went to front desk to complain, no one was there. They were outside smoking. They apologized and said they would look into taking something off the bill. No word from them. NOT HAPPY AT ALL ABOUT THIS! December 28, 2014
