Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A place to Sleep I travel for work and was able to spend the last two months working night shift staying at this hotel in South Boston. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful with the exception of a few. A couple of the front desk workers were not prepared to help with guests receiving packages when I had ordered a few things online. It was a month after the initial order that I received my package due to the hotel staff. My rooms HVAC unit had to be changed 3 times and about once a week, a gallon or more of water would pour through the ceiling in the bathroom with an unknown source. All together I survived but would not recommend this hotel if you have a choice. I have stayed at holiday inn chain hotels for the past 8 years. May 1, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not a Good Holiday Inn Express Experience When I think of Holiday Inn Express, I think of a great stay and would always come back. This hotel has ruined that for me. Website said this hotel was recently renovated, which is not the case. The common areas might look good, but I don't sleep and bath in those areas. The only thing renovated in my room was the bathroom sink. The tub was disgusting. The carpet in room and hallway were terrible. Only half of security lights in parking lot were working. Outlets on poles in parking lot were not working. Problems with key card opening side door. Wi-Fi code did not work. Only one computer had internet downstairs. Had loud and drunk people on 2nd floor, even smoking when it was supposed to be nonsmoking floor. Receptionist acted like I was bothering her when I went to check out at 5:30am. I tried to find other hotels in the area to stay but were all booked. If we didn't already have plans, I would have just gone home instead of staying here. April 15, 2015
