Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bathroom was pretty bad Elevator fan was set to off, making it needlessly hot inside. Bathroom was poorly set up and even worse in its maintenance. Toilet height looked appropriate only for kindergarten kids, not adults. Sink faucet tended to splash you. Toilet ran constantly because the mechanism needed to be replaced. Caulking in the tub surround was in appalling condition. Trouble using door keys, lock seemed to need servicing too. Door did not shut from the inside unless you pulled on it hard. Mattress was too soft. Charged more for second and third night, but not advised of this at check-in. Will not stay here again. Very poor value for the price. August 23, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ok compared to other choices in the area I doubt I will stay at this hotel again. The staff appeared less than happy that you were staying there. I was asked for my name and credit card information and that's about all that was said to me. The rooms felt damp and sticky, like the carpet was shampooed but they forgot to get the shampoo removed. Everything in the bathroom was broken. The stopper in the sink, the shower curtain, the stopper in the shower, the lower faucet in the shower, door was nearly off the hinges and when I took a shower I was standing in water over my ankles. The lower shower faucet had about 1/2" caulk to keep it on but that had pulled away and it was literally dangling from the wall. I thought maybe it was just my room but a couple of people staying said the exact same thing. Seems every bathroom is falling to pieces. August 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stay away form this property upon check in you may be lucky enough to hear that woman burping - nasty! You will not have coffee, soap or shampoo in your room. The A/C poured water all over the carpet. Mold - from the a/c leak. Good luck trying to get a bill - not under the door and if you call to get one later - they just can't be bothered to pick up the phone. Worst Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed at, not recommended as there are other hotel options in that small town. August 20, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It was ok The staff was great and the breakfast was good (better than some Holiday Inn Express) but the room was average at best in cleanliness with some stains on sheets and towels etc. The room didn't smell great, although not horrible, and was fairly old looking. During this stay we experienced a couple of issues (commode didn't flush and a moldy odor) with the first room that we were assigned. However, after reporting the issues, we were given another room which was much better. August 18, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff The Holiday Inn Express was the prefect place to stay in South Boston. Room was clean and comfortable, the staff was excellent, the breakfast was really good. The wifi could stand to be updated, it was constantly needing to be reloaded but everything else about the stay was great. July 31, 2015
