Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by South Boston Great Hotel. The ease of truck parking for tractor trailers was great. Will stay again if I'm in town. I Had the king suite that had a hot tub. The price for the suite was surprisingly affordable. February 21, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dated hotel, equipment issues, good mattresses An older hotel with dated equipment and accoutrements. AC/Heater (winter stay) repeatedly defaulted to max heat. Front desk could only opine that the unit controls should work, no offer of a different room. Bathroom fixtures loose and wobbly - spun around when turning lever to adjust temperature. Room door loose in frame and rattled loudly when other doors in the hall or outside doors were opened/closed - insecure. One tissue left in Kleenex box. Previous stay a year prior was much better; could be we just got a crummy room. Breakfast was adequate and breakfast staff helpful and attentive. Will research other options for next upcoming stay in the area February 20, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Stay The floors in the hallway were not flat...they were kind of wavy. The hotel is dated and desperately needs an overhaul. We were put in a room where the toilet didn't flush. The second room was 2 queens instead of one king and it was a smoking room (we need non-smoking). The third room was non-smoking king next to the ice machine, which kept me awake along with noisy guests and an early morning garbage truck. The beds were very hard and the pillows were difficult to adjust to any semblance of comfort. February 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service I was happy with my room at this location. The only problem I found was the situation with the commode. It was very low to the floor and my hand would touch the water when I wiped. I believe there are other commodes that would suit better. February 5, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay! This property understands the importance of good, old fashioned customer service. Everyone we encountered on staff was kind and went out of their way to make our stay a great one. My wife and I joined friends for a celebration of a mutual friend's retirement. They granted our request to have all the rooms grouped closely together. The rooms are freshly refurbished and the place sparkles. All I can say is that management should be retained by some big hotels, so these hotels could learn how to treat guests and have these guests wishing to return. I will not stay anywhere else when I next visit the area. Great job, great property! January 22, 2015
