I stay at this Holiday Inn Express anytime I'm in the Sugar Land/Stafford area on business.
it's like home away from home.
I know where to expect everything.
My most recent stay I had put my key card in pocket with my phone and it erased.
As I was attempting to open I realized the problem.
As I approached the elevator to go down to lobby to get another a member of the maintenance crew was also waiting
I laughed and told him what I'd done.
with no hesitation he said here let me open for you and you can get another key next time through the lobby.
I liked that.

It was my experience at this hotel that the front desk staff could care less about the paying customer. I personally will never stay at this hotel again.

The room was clean, quiet and well appointed. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. The grounds and facilities were appealing, and the breakfast was pretty good, considering. But the in-room coffee was the best I've ever had.
I always look forward to that first cup of coffee in the morning, but am usually less than enthusiastic about what comes out of the in-room coffee maker. I don't know who Holiday Inn buys their coffee from, but I'd be willing to drink it at home, too.

excellent i will be staying thier more often when i visit sugarland it is close to shops and easy access to freeway.

Only negative was the eggs at breakfast. All HIX serve that same egg source. It's horrible, I don't know how people can eat it. I stick to the hard boiled eggs. Everything else was outstanding.

Hotel was very outdated, and the air conditioner was incredibly loud. You couldn't even hold a conversation in the room. The lady at the front desk was creepy. When I arrived she was applying some type of facial cream behind the lobby desk in the mirror, and it was impossible to understand her. She was very short and rude.
This hotel was my last straw with IHG, and I'm now a proud member of a competitor's rewards program.
