Great hotel but need separate areas for smokers other than the entrance door area.

I am a platinum member of IHG hotels and i must say this is the worst experience we've had with an HI Express since the change over with new standards and logo. I don't know how these people got on the list. The check in clerk was unfriendly and a bit arrogant. Not only was I not greeted (or treated) as a Priority Member, I was not offered the choice of points or snack box. When I asked later I was told they were out of them and had been for a week. My TV did not work but was "fixed" by jiggling the cable--after the third call. The room was not HI Express standard. We had two pillows rather than the standard 2 soft and 2 hard. Nothing seemed like I was in an HI Express which I had come to depend on for consistency. Oh. we are both disabled and other guests smoking outside provided all the help we got.

Great place. Just bad location. No good places to go for dinner. Other than Applebee's . That's not what I call exciting. And your to far from Lexington to run into have a meal. JMO?..

Toilet broke... they never fixed it... Staff was not trained in check in procedure, property is changing over to another property and lots of construction... place was a mess I am a gold member and this was an embarrasement

STaff and room was great. Very clean. The front of the hotel was being worked on so there was a little awkwardness coming in but really no problem.

What a dump. Completely uncharacteristic of the "Holiday Inn Express" brand. If staying at a "Holiday Inn Express" is supposed to enhance my business performance . . . . I am doomed and will be unemployed soon. This property has not been updated for at least ten years. From entrance to my room, it was dirty, old and broken down. I may never stay at a Holiday Inn property again because of this stay. SHOCKED!!! I am completely shocked!
