Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 551 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place, convenient to MagMile and Old Towne Among the best experiences I have had in a Chicago Hotel. Clean, reasonably quiet (it is the City), with excellent staff and amenities. March 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great neighborhood This is in an excellent neighborhood that is very much residential and very quiet. I have stayed many places in Chicago and at this hotel I didn't hear sirens all night long like the 6 other hotels I have stayed in Chicago. March 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Interesting hotel If you have business in the area, the Hotel Indigo in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago is a fine choice. It is clean and up to date and has good amenities -- a quick breakfast place, a small bar, a fitness room and a spa. The rooms are small and oddly shaped, but outfitted well. My room was a bit cave-like, as the only window overlooked an interior stairwell, but since I was only there basically to sleep and spent most of my time away from the room, it was fine. Also the walls seem pretty thin -- I could hear my next-room neighbor cough quite clearly, and felt I needed to keep my TV at an almost inaudible level to avoid bothering that person. March 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Repeat guest of property-will use again Great location in Gold Coast area. Walkable to Lake, Mich. Ave, Old Town, River North and even to Loop. Red line stop nearby. Worth the stay. March 18, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Chicago Indigo hotel As a change to the normal business hotel, the Indigo was a great option for a different environment. March 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and great property I have stayed at this hotel many times and it is always enjoyable. The staff, location and property are wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. March 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Like staying with friends. The marriage of a hotel to a bed and breakfast. Responsive, friendly staff and convenience on all levels. It's like returning to a friend's house. Comfortable beds too! Plus Mario's Italian restaurant across the street..Ha! Clean and bright environment that feels like a good mood. We love it every time! March 12, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I expected I stay at IHG hotels wherever I am in the world where they exist and normally at HI, CP or HIE. This was my first stay at a Indigo and having read how good this type of hotel is and it being a star in the IHG brand I was expecting good things. Forget it, it was awful. From the moment I arrived, drunks in the elevators, dirty communal areas, coffee not left in my room 3 days running after I complained, breakfast service that is appalling, another guest had to tell the waitress I had been waiting 15 minutes before she saw me, breakfast served at 7 am on weekends, and I leave for work at 6.45, room cleaner who banged on my door 4 times after I hung out a "do not disturb sign" on the one day I could sleep in. The only highlight was when the lovely lady in charge of reception gave me a complimentary drink because I missed the breakfast service. To top it off it was too expensive for a poor experience.
