When I walked out of the elevators of the Indigo, I felt like I could have been walking out into Salzburg or Munich, and not downtown Chicago. The decor is awesome. Ambiance is great. Now, Dear American Traveler, this might not be the hotel for you. Narrow hallways, smaller rooms, no fridges or microwaves in the room. If you want that, there's a Holiday Inn Express waiting for you. Great price, good breakfast, and don't fear the commute out of downtown. Only took us 30 minutes to get to Forest Park during rush hour. Oh, and watch yourself at the bar. Pay attention to the daily specials, or it gets expensive quickly. Lissa at the front desk can give you awesome suggestions for dinner. March 3, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The room was NOT cleaned after the person before me used the room Long story short, after getting to my room late the first night of my 3 night stay (about 2am) I went straight to bed and when I woke the next day and pulled the sheets back in order to read a book to relax a little, I discovered the entire bed was covered in hair, including the side I didn't sleep on, and I sleep in pajamas on top of it, so I knew this wasn't my hair. PLEASE can someone explain to me how you do not change the bedding when you book a room at this hotel, let alone NOT change the bedding for someone who has booked three nights. With all the concern over getting bed bugs, you would think that a hotel would take a situation like this seriously. The sad part about this is that the family members of mine who referred this hotel to me were also there in another room and are frequent guests since they are members of this hotels reward program. This time we had some noisy neihgbors and the walls to the room we were in must have been thin because we could hear every word of the 4 person conversation that lasted until 2AM. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing The hotel is in a nice location. The staff was not friendly or welcoming. This was the second time I stayed there that the TV didn't work. The rooms are definitely showing wear and tear and look like they need a thorough cleaning. The room was pretty quiet. February 28, 2015
