My stay at the Hotel Indigo New Orleans was perfect. The hotel is spotless throughout. During my visit, I was treated so nicely by all the staff but the employee that stands out was Stephanie W at the front desk. She was more than accommodating the entire weekend. The location is perfect; its close enough to the French Quarter minus all the drama of what goes on closer into downtown. It sits on the trolley car line which makes the commute simple to the French Quarter area. This was the cleanest hotel room I ever remember staying in. The lay out and of the bathroom was ideal. The walk in glass enclosed shower was perfect. I could go on and on. In short, The Indigo is clean, quiet and perfect for my needs. The only thing I didn’t understand was the mandatory valet. The lot is attached to the hotel but self-parking it not permitted. I will be back in the near future and thank all the staff for their hospitality.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MikeH314 Nice hotel - great staff
Stayed during Mardi-Gras weekend. Yes, the lobby would get a little bit sloppy from time to time, but once the revelry ended the staff would quickly and efficiently make it look like a great hotel again.
Elevators are small, but they seemed sufficient for the number of guests, even with the hotel filled to capacity. There were occasional waits for an elevator, but nothing unmanageable.
Staff was friendly and helpful - I will stay at this location again.

We really did not expect to see any Mardi Gras activities since we arrived almost a week before Fat Tuesday. We then discovered that this is a season not a single day. The Hotel is situated directly on the parade route and people were friendly and considerate. It was great to be able to go back to our hotel room for a break from the activities.
Overall it was a great location for visiting New Orleans.

Great location for Uptown parades. Hotel switched to a small breakfast buffet, instead of breakfast menu during Mardis Gras weekend. Strict security during Mardis Gras also. This was our first Mardis Gras and we understand why the hotel changes some of their policies. Great time. Great hotel.

Our family and friends stayed at Hotel Indigo over the Mardi Gras weekend. We had a Queen Queen suite, a room with King bed, and One room with a Queen Queen configuration. All of our rooms were splendid. Maggie, the assistant manager, and her staff even placed us all on the same floor for our convenience.
From the moment we checked in and were greeted personally, our stay was great. The front desk staff is courteous and helpful. They arranged airport transportation, and taxis to the French Quarter. the hotel is conveniently located near downtown and Uptown-Garden District neighborhoods, walking distance to Magazine Street shopping and fine dining.
Their bar and food service was open late after most of the parades ended. One evening they were the only spot on the Avenue that was open and stayed late for our group to eat a nice hot dinner.
Security was first rate. Valets were kept busy with the holiday, but so courteous. Will definitely return ASAP.
