Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Old Hotel I was very surprised upon arriving. Some of the other reviews scared me a bit.. But the hotel was beautiful. You have to appreciate old Florida architecture, but everything was updated. Some of the rooms in our group were small, but our double in room 309 was perfect. I would say you need more space to place toiletries in the bathroom for a lady to get ready. But it was nice. The historical areas of the hotel were marked with plaques, those were interesting. The Staff was absolutely amazing!!!!! Everyone went out of their way to accommodate us all. Our housekeeper, Tracy was fantastic and friendly. She keeps 20 gold stars for keeping up with our group!! The only downside was the bachelorette party down the hall partying and fighting until 4am, but that isnt the hotel's fault. We should have reported it but didn't. When I mentioned it to the front desk at check out they said if we had reported it they would have taken care of it immediately. It is withing 4 blocks of several wonderful restaurants also. Ill be back! January 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Location is perfect for a stroll When we checked in after a long day of travel, we were greeted by the best staff I have seen at an IHG hotel. Christian was awesome and provided great service explaining the ins and outs of the area and hotel. Room was comfy, bed is nice. Easily walked to the marina and pier as well as all of the cafe's. Locale Market at the Sundial is just steps away and highly reccomended. We love the feel of the Indigo and the bar was quite a good time. Definately stay here when looking in St. Pete January 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another great stay at the Indigo I Stay at the Indigo St. Pete regularly on business. The location is convenient for walking to a variety of restaurants and entertainment. The hotel staff is always great with Very little turnover. Jackie and Christian stood out this trip and should be commended. January 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointing We recently stayed at the Hotel Indigo in St. Petersburg and were very disappointed with our experience. When we visit family in FL, my husband and I take a getaway night. We have stayed at the property in Sarasota and had great experiences each time. This time we decided to mix it up and go to St. Petersburg, and we will NEVER do this again based on our experience. The front desk staff was not very welcoming or friendly and also seemed fairly unsure when we asked some basic questions, needed to refer to a manager. When we returned after dinner, the agent on duty did not even look up from her phone to greet us as we walked by on the way to the elevator. Our room was very small and had not been cleaned properly, the toilet still had cleanser on it. The sink had virtually no vanity space which was difficult to makeup, toothbrushes, etc in the bathroom, compounded because there was maybe a foot between the toilet and the sink. The shower head was twisted in a way that caused water to spill our on the bathroom floor when turned on, luckily we could readjust it. The pillows were awful, the bad not very comfortable. The final straw happened when we checked out and went to get our car from the valet and were told that they did not have our keys. They initially tried to blame us that we had not left the keys with the valet, then were told that if we had checked in late, the keys would have gone to the front desk - we checked in mid-afternoon. The valet manager was called in who then called the valet who had been on duty when we checked in and had to leave a message. He also called in another manager from another property (maybe an area manager?). They finally went back to the car and found the keys inside in the console - and the car had been UNLOCKED ALL NIGHT and parked on the street! All of this took about 1/2 an hour and made us late getting back to get ready for a family event. We received some not very heartfelt apologies, and the manager asked for our paid bill to credit us back for the parking fee, then never came back to confirm that it had been done - when we asked what the deal was, we were told not to worry and should see the credit back on our card soon. Altogether not much of a relaxing getaway and very disappointing to us who have been big fans of the brand. January 10, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by too old, too small, outdated This hotel Indigo is not up to par with the other branded hotel Indigo hotels I have stayed at in the U.S. Outdated and too small. Great location though and since we only used the room to sleep at night, it was okay for our vacation as we walked downtown or traveled to Tampa during the day. January 6, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by great location, but nice boutique, nice location, nice staff But small room, small bathroom, no Refrigerator, no complimentary water, no benefit with platinum. self parking fee is $14, valet parking is free service with $14. January 6, 2015
