Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well worth a visit After a flight from the UK I stayed 3 nights at the hotel and really enjoyed my visit. The room was great and I used the free shuttle bus at least five times within these days. The airport pick up arrived within ten minutes from the making a call on an airport telephone I used the free shuttle to take me to the station and got into DC Central very easy and at a cost of $9 return and took around 40 minutes on the silver line All I would say if you do not take a phone with you it is very hard to find one when you get back to the station to call for pick up (nearest phone 1 mile from station but used phone in bank across the road from station) Used the free shuttle for other areas of local interest with no issues The social nights on Tuesday Wednesday from 1730 to 1930 (Thursday as well although flew home then) were great with good food and plenty of it with free wine and two draft beers on tap . Also had plenty of soft drinks as well. Breakfast was good and always a good selection Also the free coffee all day was good although found the free wi fi slow including the two free PCs on site for customers to use You can find local bars and resturants within 3 minutes on the shuttle which includes a large supermarket if you need to stock up (also has a good Irish bar) just tell the driver you want to go to the clock tower as said only 3 minutes away Although the free social nights are Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday the hotel held an extra night with free pizza and drinks for an American football match on the Monday It should be noted the team work very hard at breakfast and on the social nights well done Overall really enjoyed my stay and would stay again November 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Just a nigt This was my fist stay at a Staybridge and it was spectacular. I was warmly greeted and the staff was very helpful. I checked in and instantly logged in to the wifi to find some food in the area. The front desk helped me with some local amenities such as the nearest ATM. I did not sleep that night but thats because I am a night owl. The bed was a bit too firm for me, but was a great bed. The room was just amazing. November 7, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stayed for more than 2 months! It is a good hotel - quite calm and serene and offers good food. Internet particularly for me was a big problem though others staying in the same hotel during the same time as me did not experience any problem - which would mean that only my suite had the problem - but other than that I would recommend this hotel. Also, the front desk staff is great - except for one of the new recruits!! :-) November 2, 2014

This time, we had the great disappointment of not having a crib for our 1 year old any of the 3 nights. I had called the hotel the day before our trip to verify that they had a crib for us. They said they did so we left ours at home. When I arrived, they had given it to someone else. I checked back every night and it was still checked out. It is sad that they won't keep a crib reservation and offered no solution to our problem. October 29, 2014

The bed was so comfortable, best night sleep on vacation. Breakfast was ok satisfying. Staff was very knowledgeable about area we sent out for supper. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Staff! We stayed at this hotel while vacationing in the Washington D.C. area, and overall it was a very nice experience. I travel frequently and almost always stay in IHG branded hotels, and I can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The shuttle service was invaluable. They offer a free shuttle service to anywhere in a 5-mile radius. We used that service to go to the Air & Space Museum at Dulles, which was awesome. And then we used it daily to take us to the Metro station where we took the train into D.C. every day. Very nice amenity in and of itself. The breakfasts were very good, and the social hour was also very nice. Anything less than a great experience we had was: a) not due to a lack of effort or concern on their part, but merely one of those things that happen. and b) something that they bent over backwards to make right with us. The only thing that was a minor irritant was a problem with the toilet in our room that kept filling up about every 15 minutes or so. We reported it daily, but somehow it never got fixed while we were there for a week. I want to reiterate that I truly believe that the front desk employees and the manager were not dismissing this, nor taking it lightly, but rather it somehow kept slipping through the cracks. Not sure what happened, but it was a very small thing compared to the overall very pleasant experience. Having stayed there just over a week we got friendly with a number of the front desk staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember their names, but suffice it to say that they were all awesome! One name that I do remember is a gentlemen named Myron. He was truly awesome, and I honestly felt like he (like the rest of the staff we met) weren't just going through the motions to earn a paycheck. He is truly an awesome employee. I could only hope that if I were an employer that I had a whole team of Myron's working for me. If Myron's performance was a 10.0 on a scale of 1-10, then everyone else we got to know certainly 9.5 to 10.0 as well. Myron just happened to be someone we dealt with more often and I was very impressed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the DC area, and take advantage of their shuttle service to the train station. It's not too difficult to figure out and is definitely a less stressful and cheaper way to explore our nation's capital. October 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely nice and updated facility. My family was very pleased with our accommodations. Everything was clean. It was near the breakfast, which was awesome! There was something for everyone. The grandchildren especially enjoyed it. The staff was very nice and kept everything refilled. It is a busy job for one person, but she did it with a smile. We thanked her and told her it was wonderful. If we would have had to pay for 3 separate rooms it would have been expensive. With Staybridge it was quite affordable alternative. Thank you for that. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Customer Service We have stayed at this location several times and have always enjoyed the proximety to the horse show and overall comfort/value and cleanliness of the hotel. Reason for poor review is this year my husband and I had two teenage minors travelling with us (that are not our children) to the horse show. The parent booked the room in advance (as we did), however upon check-in the hotel had overbooked and did not have a room for the two teenagers. When booking room it was made clear they needed to stay with us and we were responsible for them due to them being minors. The option given to us was to have them stay in another Staybridge location and they would comp their room for the night. This was obviously not an option. They ended up having to stay with us in our room, however the hotel made no concessions to us. If willing to comp a room for two minors across town, why not comp us our night for our inconvenience? The hotel overbooked however, my husband and I are the ones that have to pay full price and suffer with extra people in our room, and two teeneagers had to sleep on a sofa. October 1, 2014
