As platinum IHG members we were upgraded to a suite, which was converted from two regular rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great temperature control, but the walls could be refreshed
(stained or worn out wallpaper). The bathroom chute sliding window above the bath tub was puzzling, as the glass sliding doors were not properly secured and misaligned. I assume this was only an access to plumbing, but very unsightly. Also, in our suite, we had to move coffee machine and ice bucket to the living room wardrobe, as there were no available shelves in the wardrobe (one taken by the security box, bottom taken by the refrigerator, next by coffee, top by ice bucket). All these should be in the other wardrobe to leave room for personal items in the bedroom. I imagine, in a regular room there is no such option, but there still is a chest of drawers.
All the services were great, especially breakfast; the lounge was also good, no juices though, but the concierge did not know, e.g., what the Easter Island is. The front desk helped us find everything, from a taxi to places to visit, to the area maps. [Less]
