Eugene is a city at the south end of Oregon's Willamette Valley. It sits near the confluence of the Willamette and McKenzie rivers, located about 50 miles from the coast. Eugene is also the second-most populous city in Oregon, after Portland, and is known for its recreational opportunities, natural environment and arts community. The Nike Corporation was established in Eugene, which helped influence its nickname: Track Town, USA. It also houses the University of Oregon. Eugene's climate is wet throughout much of the year, which helps keep the city very green.

When visiting Eugene, take a walk around the University of Oregon campus to see its beautiful architecture and lush grounds. You can also cheer for the Ducks at Autzen Stadium during football season. Explore the arts community at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, a historic building housing modern art exhibits and a café. Explore the natural surroundings at Hendricks Park, which includes more than 80 acres of trails and picnic areas.

It's easy to find an IHG hotel option in Eugene or the neighboring city of Springfield, where visitors can relax and enjoy amenities designed to make them feel at home. Some properties are near the university campus, while others offer easy access to downtown Eugene.

Eugene Airport is the closest option for travelers. Lane Transit District offers public bus service. You can also rent bicycles at various locations throughout Eugene or explore the city by foot. Visitors will find plenty of walking and biking paths, as this is a very pedestrian-friendly city.

Very clean and well managed
By EvilPete
The staff were all friendly and professional. Anytime we needed anything from towels to coffee, we were met with a smile. The room was extremely clean and the beds are amazing. The bathroom facility [More] was clean and well cared for. Every part of the room was cleaned and no dust anywhere, this is a big deal due to my wife’s allergies, even the television was awesome, great picture and great channels. [Less]

Good place to stay and convenient.
By UO Fan
Did well during a tough pandemic. Staff was friendly, checked me in early with no problem due to early flight. Also did a later checkout. Breakfast help getting the to-go bag were very friendly. [More] Didn’t use maid service, but when we needed anything, trash pickup, new bags, towels, etc, they were very prompt. Clean newer hotel diagonal to Matthew Knight Arena. [Less]
WONDERFUL BEDS AND SHOWERS
By MommysTallyHo
Due to COVID, we were not able to eat in the dining area, but this place did offer a walk up window where you picked out as much as you wanted and they bagged it for you. This was better than the [More] grab and go we have had to endure but still pay the same price even though you cannot get a hot breakfast. Looking forward to this pandemic being over with. [Less]
Nicer than expected
By Ricky Bobby
I don't normally write reviews but this hotel was better than I expected. I've stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels and this was surprisingly one of the nicest. I was expecting it to be [More] rundown since it is close to the University, but my room was very nice. It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the thermostat worked great to keep the room cool during 95 degree weather. I also appreciated that they had the gym open--by appt only to maintain social distancing. I wish other places would make an effort to offer this option. I feel like too many businesses are using covid as an excuse to be lazy and give poor service. [Less]

i loved the shower
By no nickname
my husband had to have surgery on the next day. the beds were great/very comffy. i never saw a hotel with exercise things before but though it was a great idea. i liked the shower containers, i [More] didn't have to open umpteen containers, and there was plenty there. i had to use special soap on my husbands back so the size of the shower was awesome. i too, have to have back surgery so we will be seeing you soon. oh, do you have any pet rooms?
