Grant in the parlor room of the McLean house, ending the War Between the States. The villa retreat of Thomas Jefferson, Poplar Forest, is a short drive from our Lynchburg hotels. Visit this architectural masterpiece and watch artisans and archeologists hard at work restoring the 200-year-old house to its original glory.
Explore Lynchburg's walkable historic streets lined with townhouses built by tobacco barons.
