Featured Berlin Hotels

Today's Berlin is a modern and culturally vibrant city, brimming with beautiful architecture, world-class arts and a thriving nightlife scene.
Not to mention, a profusion of museums, monuments and attractions to explore during your Holiday Inn Express® Berlin hotel stay.

Few vestiges remain of the wall that once divided the German capital, and visitors move freely about the city, often unaware which side they are on. Perhaps the most impressive feat is the speed in which Berlin rebuilt itself.
The once desolate Potsdamer Platz is now a bustling corporate square with shops, restaurants and luxury condominiums.
Catch the latest IMAX movie or German art house film at the Sony Center, a massive retail and entertainment complex located in the heart of Potsdamer Platz.

The Mitte district, formerly part of East Berlin, has become Berlin's city center and a major tourist draw.
The tree-lined Unter den Linden leads to the Pariser Platz promenade and towering Brandenburg Gate - one of Berlin's most treasured and beautiful monuments, especially at night when the gates light up.
The Reichstag is only a block away, and the 360-degree view from the glass dome roof of this German parliament building is worth the long wait in line.

While you're in the neighborhood, check out Tiergarten Park.
Here you'll find the Berlin Zoo, Berlin Philharmonic and some of the most beautiful green spaces and walking paths in the city. The Mitte is also home to the East Berlin art scene, Auguststrasse.
If you're looking for ways to save during your Berlin hotel stay, you'll be happy to know that most of the galleries offer free admission.

The Western Zone of Berlin is considered the more commercial side of the city.
It also hosts the majority of Berlin's businesses, conventions and festivals.
The Ku'Damm (short for Kurfürstendamm) is a popular avenue for its upscale shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, as well as the greatest concentration of luxury hotels in Berlin.
Not too far from the Ku'Damm is Schloss Charlottenburg, the largest palace in Berlin.
Despite being burnt to the ground during World Word II, Charlottenburg has been fully restored to its Baroque glory, and both the palace and the grounds are a popular tourist stop.

You many not see it all in one visit, but our Holiday Inn Express Berlin hotels can put you near the major attractions on your list.

Good hotel with quality staff
By GuidoG
I stay at Crowne Plaza brand hotels a lot, all over the world, but this was the first time at this Berlin CP. I had a really very good stay; the building itself is not too inspiring in terms of [More] looks, but the hotel is clean, in very good condition and run very well. The central location near the Tiergarten and Kurfürstendamm was excellent. KaDeWe is just around the corner and there are several U-bahn stations nearby for easy and quick travel across Berlin. The room was on the small side but well laid out and I particularly appreciated having enough power sockets available. The rooms and public areas were all very clean. My room at the 7th floor and at the rear of the hotel was very quiet. As a Spire member I perhaps ought to have been upgraded to a larger room. I had dinner several times in the Wilson's restaurant and this was well above what you would expect in a typical hotel restaurant. Similarly, breakfast was good and indeed better and more varied than you usual get on the continent. All the staff I came across were very good and eager to be helpful. Indeed, the hard working and friendly staff in this hotel are a big reason for its good score. I also very much appreciated the excellent speed and reliability of the wireless Internet connection - too many other hotels still don't get this vital part of service right but here in the CP Berlin it was faultless and with great performance. The air-conditioning is on the noisy side, but still ok. I very much recommend this hotel and certainly would be more than happy to use it again on a future trip to Berlin. [Less]
Great place to stay in the heart of Berlin

The Berlin city Center Crowne Plaze has clean and quiet rooms; excellent staff [Less]
Very nice staff - but why bother about sending in preferences
By Ljo54
I really like this hotel. It is one of my Berlin favourites, first of all because of a good location and wonderful staff. The funny thing is the email they send you before you arrive abour any [More] preferences you have. I send it in and sometimes I get what I want - at other times I don't. I fully understand that I cannot always get a room close to the lift, but getting the right pillows shouldn't be too difficult. But this time they got it all wrong - I had asked for a low floor room, close to lift and feather pillows and got a room in the 5th floor of 6, about as far from the lift as you can get and with a synthetic pillow. Didn't bother to complain - just saw the funny side of it! Rooms are small but adequate. The shower leaves something to be desired - if you are 1,90 metres tall you can hardly get underneath it, but there is a nice bathrobe and slippers, and good towels, so I don't bother too much about that either. I wills till return - just because it is located where it is and the staff are really amont the most helpful in Berlin. [Less]

Well situated Hotel for Arena and public transport

Loved the hotel and staff, a little bit noisy early in the morning due to the new shopping centre being built, however this will improve when building work has finished. Car Parking and Breakfast is [More] expensive! but overall this didn't spoil our stay. [Less]

The staff was very helpful when I asked for directions. They also scheduled the shuttle to pick us up at the hotel and drop us off at the train station at 5 AM! Thank you! [Less]
