I have always loved staying at Holiday inns. You always seem to get exactly what you pay for. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case this last stay at the Seaside Or one. I can understand the interior
re-model being done, but the parking lot is a bit of a disaster site with the container pods blocking incoming traffic views. The eating room, at first glance looks like a dingy bar room with dark walls, but on further inspection it appears to be paper for kids to draw on. Well done on that!!! the food was a disappointment nothing specific just sadness, although the variety was what you come to expect with Holiday inn.
The room was newly remodeled and looked nice, there were power ports for phones and regular cords all over, so that was great!! The bed was a bit of a disappointment. It was too firm, but that might be a personal statement. id like to see certain rooms having differing degrees of firmness. I don't know if that is cost effective though.. food for thought. The bathroom was oddly arranged and on the small side, however the required jobs did get accomplished with minimal fuss. This Holiday inn location is ok, but has some to go to compare with other ones. [Less]
