Book a stay at one of our Holiday Inn® family hotels in Norwich. Survey the narrow streets of this ancient city from the top of Norman Castle or cruise the quiet waterways of the Norfolk Broads.
Half-timbered Tudor buildings loom as you wander down cobbled Elm Hill, tucked inside Norwich's maze of medieval alleyways. This landmark street is packed with more Tudor architecture than is found in the whole of London. The city's collection of excellently preserved historic buildings, known as the Norwich 12, is conveniently located near our hotels in Norwich. Pick up a free self-guided walking map of Norwich 12 from the tourist information centre. Faced in limestone shipped from France by the Normans, the formidable keep of Norwich Castle still stands guard over the city. The mighty spire of the Norwich Cathedral extends toward the heavens. A short journey from our Norwich hotels takes you into the Norfolk Broads, a sweeping expanse of wetlands dotted with windmills and blessed with some of the richest flora and fauna in the country.
One of the largest markets in the country, Norwich Market does a thriving business six days a week, just as it has for close to a millennium. Work up an appetite as you browse the artisanal food stalls. Our Norwich hotels are close to Prince of Wales Road, flanked on either side by elegant townhouses as it stretches out of the city centre. Buzzing with restaurants and pubs, it's the best place in Norwich to sample one of the region's many local ales.
Book into our Norwich family hotels and lose yourself among the twisting streets of this historic city, whose medieval past is feted annually at the Dragon Festival, which celebrates the dragon-the heraldic symbol of the city since ancient times.
We like this hotel because it has a large supermarket next door (Asda) and that is good for supplies and for fuel. There are other facilities nearby. We use this hotel when we visit my widowed sister[More] in law who lives in Old Catton. The breakfast is ample and there is a good range of choices. Parking is safe and convenient.[Less]
Some updates to this hotel needed. But overall a pleasant stay[Less]
Overall stay pleasant and staff friendly and helpful. It would have been nice to have a comfy chair in the room rather than having to sit on the bed.[Less]

Just an overnight visit to watch a football match. We lost but who cares as already promoted. Made use of the close swimming pool complex which was fine. Also had food in the hotel which was[More] convenient. Booked a suite so was good for relaxing. This was on the top floor which was quiet except could also hear the chants from the fans as they left the stadium which was great.[Less]
With rooms overlooking the Norwich City football pitch this is an ideal hotel for visiting fans.[Less]
Good location with easy access to restaurants, shop sand walking distance to centre[Less]
Tired hotel, but well on with the renovations, looking forward to the finished hotel[Less]
The hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient for North Norwich
The dining room was being completely refurbished at the time of our visit so wasn't as spacious as usual, hence my lower scores for[More] that facility.[Less]
Lovely staff and good location
Lovely place to stay for short break. The spa area is good and it was great to be able to use it after a day of walking and sightseeing. The only negative was not having an area to sit in the bar but[More] I'm sure when the refurb is finished it will be a lot better[Less]
