Excellent Experience

Wonderful staff - incredible customer service skills. Rooms are wonderfully appointed - High quality furniture, extremely comfortable and restful, bathroom was tastefully designed, and was stocked [More] with several amenities. Wonderful stay! [Less]
Extra ordinary friendly professional service
Extra ordinary friendly professional serviceBy many of the staff members. But in particular at the club level and extraordinary commitment to professional work done with grace and friendliness by Mr. [More] Savas. One of the best clubroom buffets we’ve seen. [Less]

I was staying with my partner and young son for a conference. The staff and management did everything they could to assist us during our stay. It was our first long trip away with our son and it went [More] very smoothly thanks to the efforts of the Crowne Plaza team. [Less]

The Hotel was very comfortable, the staff friendly food was available at reasonable prices but I never used them because there was a lot of restaurants nearby which I made good use of. [Less]
Excellent spot for a Perth Getaway
By That Travel Chick
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Perth. Location is right in the heart of the city yet it is a quiet spot, walking distance the the Riverside Quay and Kings Park and only 5mins to [More] the Mall for shopping plus bars and restaurants. Staff were really friendly and amazingly efficient especially when we needed our car bought to reception and also an ambulance for a health emergency. Highly recommended as affordable and great value in top location. [Less]
Accessibility compromised by poorly designed elevator operation and narrow room door/ corridor
By Tumblefly
The staff were friendly, and when I commented on the issue of the elevator on checkout, they advised that they could have called the accessible elevator (one of three) for me if I would have asked. [More] As I had checked in while sitting in my wheelchair, having to reach up to the standing height front desk (which could be easily modified to have at least a portion lowered to improve the interpersonal interaction for those of us in wheelchairs), it should have been mentioned at check-in, rather than check out. In fact, I assumed that all elevators would be accessible, and unfortunately my first ride was compromised by a horrible realisation that it was much easier to get in than it was to get out, as it was configured in a way that, instead of going straight in, I had to turn my electric chair to the right, which then meant that I had to back out in a reverse turn, which some might realise is not as simple as backing up a car... my wheelchair has front wheels which can get misaligned in tight turning, and anyway I had to have assistance to get out, which wasn’t the best start to the stay. I then realised the third lift was the accessible lift, just allowing for a person in a chair and a mate. Maybe more ableds could ride with, if they don’t mind doing the wheelchair shuffle. The thing is, that the accessible lift is not independently controlled (unless, apparently, you ask the front desk to use their key). So, my support had to send each of the first two back to our floor, using our key, and time it just right until the proper lift came down (or up, depending, and if there just so happened to be people riding to another floor well, then, there was the additional wait and sending game). It was really not fun from my perspective, as it completely compromised my sense of independence. Maybe I should have realised that I could call the front desk for assistance, but still, it really would be better to have the accessible elevator be accessible, independently. Also, while the room was accessible enough for my purposes, it was a tight fit getting into the room, and the bathroom, as there was a narrow corridor and a narrow door to enter the room. My chair is pretty narrow so it was okay, but it made me feel like it should have been wider for ease and comfort. That being said, the bed was comfortable. The room service was prompt and polite and was happy to bring ice given our fridge was not operational. It wasn’t a bad stay, and I did find it restful as I required day rests in order to maintain attentive attendance during a nearby two day conference. [Less]
