Featured Bangkok Hotels

Enjoy a warm welcome at one of our Holiday Inn® Bangkok hotels in Thailand's big-hearted, fun-loving capital. You're just a quick Skytrain or tuk-tuk ride away from the Grand Palace, Sukhumvit's malls and spice-scented street markets.

The speedy Skytrain stops conveniently close to our hotels in Bangkok. Rise early to see saffron-robed monks on their morning rounds, or practice tai chi with the locals in Lumpini Park. Tuk-tuks buzz through Bangkok's streets to the Grand Palace, where gold spires glint in the morning sun-a good time to see the sacred Emerald Buddha before the crowds arrive. Just around the corner is the mystical amulet market and Wat Pho temple, housing an enormous reclining Buddha. Our Bangkok hotels are also near the Chao Phraya River, where you can board a long-tail boat as the setting sun silhouettes spires and bell-shaped stupas (monuments).

It's just a short ride from our Bangkok hotels to the high-rise malls of Sukhumvit neighborhood, where you can shop for Thai-style fashion and tailor-made silk outfits. Haggling for bargains is part of the street theater at the Patpong Night Market in the heart of bar-lined Silom neighborhood. Bangkok is a city of a million woks-almost every soi (alley) has food stalls ready to whip up a green curry or spicy papaya salad for a few baht. Go to neon-lit Chinatown for noodles or the party-loving Banglamphu district for cheap street eats and a clubby vibe. Both Sukhumvit and Silom serve global cuisine in chic surrounds-round out your day with twilight views of Bangkok's skyline from the 61st-floor Vertigo Bar.

Stay in our Holiday Inn® Bangkok hotels in spring for kite-filled skies and water fights at Songkran (Thai New Year) in April. See royal barges glide past on the King's birthday in December.

Stayed 4 nights, good location, great value
By Cloud11
Our midnight check-in was fast; front desk staffs were helpful and courteous. The hotel is in a safe location. The hotel lobby is expansive and inviting and feels almost like a 5 stars hotel. Overall [More] services (from front door, front desk to breakfast/dinning areas) were very good. Initially we had planned to stay at the other fancier hotels near the river, but I read some reviews in which Asian guests get second class treatment to Westerners there at those five-star hotels. Quite a few Asian guests from Singapore, Malaysia, China, and HongKong indicated in the reviews that they were discriminated against in those hotels. So we chose this Holiday Inn at Silom because I didn't read any such negative reviews. We find the staffs overall very professional. Breakfast quality is good, but variety is just average. Thailand is full of tropical fruits, yet I mainly saw watermelon, pineapple and canned, sugared rambutan served when the market is full of fresh ones. My only gripe about the hotel is the mattress. It's TOO SOFT. Soft mattress is fine if you sleep alone. But if there's two persons sleeping, the mattress sloops down the middle, making it hard to sleep flat. [Less]
Great Hotel

Very good hotel and excellent facilities. I have been a different Holiday Inn, but this one really gave me a great impression upon arrival, area is good so are the services and staff. Breakfast is [More] abundant with good selection of food. Pool area is limited to weather conditions surrounded by buildings. [Less]
Excellent Accommodation close to BTS.
By Gim.
Close to Chong Nonsi BTS within walking distance from Hotel. Have to watch out for vehicles on narrow road path. Other than this, hotel serves a humble but wonderful spread of breakfast buffet. Room [More] and bed are clean. The environment is filled with calm with "village-like" peacefulness in an urban setting. [Less]

Great Location and Comfortable Room with Great Breakfast
By S7even
I like to stay in Holiday Inn as it has a good location. Exactly in main road and many restaurants, cafe, bar, etc surrounding. And on of the reason that make me back all the time is about the [More] Food. So Many varieties with the good quality. But a bit unfortunately, Staff there has less service. They just asked my room number then done. No more service, just do what you want. As I know in other Hotels, They will show my table and offer tea or coffee. Also when I almost done my breakfast, One of Supervisor/MG offered me to have tea or coffee. I said yes coffee please thank you, but waited almost 20mins till I took my own coffee by myself. [Less]

Location is very nice. Very close to MRT (Sky train / Metro). Good selection of pillow - most important for a good sleep. For vegetarians there are not much choice in breakfast, but the normal [More] breakfast is good. For Non-Veg lovers this is good place to stay lot of options in food. Surroundings are very good, inside the room it is very silent, no outside sound comes in. [Less]
