Nice Facility but with Issues

The property is nice and conveniently adjoined to the Indiana Convention Center—the location of a trade show I was attending. The room was well equipped and clean thought a few signs of wear (bathtub/carpet edges near bathroom). I am not a fan of shower heads I have to duck to get under—perhaps a small issue to some but one that frustrates me. The hotel is the site of an active train station which was told to me at checkin (you may notice some noise or vibration). Unfortunately room 327 must be situated right near the tracks and, just after I went to sleep an extremely loud noise and vibration woke me. Much more noise and vibration than I had anticipated. I wish the warning would have been more detailed—something I am sure perhaps they do not want to tell guests. I can take that issue though because I was warned—willing to look past that. The greater issue is the location of my room in proximity to a set of doors passing from one “hall” of rooms to the interior hall of rooms. These doors have the “crash bar” opening mechanism on the door. The doors—which were closed naturally—were right outside my room door. Every time someone went through the door and opened it with the crash bar it sounded like someone coming in my room. The issue happened through the night—over and over again—waking me each time. I normally take time to call but basically was there one night and then back to the airport and home. Maybe the hotel could have made an accommodation but I did not want to do that in the middle of the night. I trust perhaps a greater warning can be provided about the noise the trains cause and perhaps a change can be made to the doors outside Room 327 to help afford the customer sleeping there a better nights sleep. I provided feedback and hope for a conversation with someone from the facility. I would appreciate a response and feedback.
