The staff at this hotel are extremely polite and helpful. The room and common areas were clean, the ceiling in my room evidently had a water leak and it needed some repair work, but that did not [More] effect my stay. The store has quite a bit of snack stuff, but nothing gluten free and very expensive, paying for the convenience for sure. The grill is a great option, but I did not have the opportunity to use it. Wonderful Stay

My family and I recently had to stay there for business with our children for 3 weeks. The accommodations there at the hotel are great. At the front desk there are a ton of movies and books to sign [More] out, along with numerous games to sign out as well, which kept the kids occupied for quite sometime. The hotel staff where amazing, super kind to us at all times and where very helpful when needed. One of my favorite things there was the FREE washing machines and dryers, we where definitely able to save a bundle on that. The ONLY con I had with the hotel was there wasn't a pool. The closet IHG brand hotel with the full kitchen (which was an absolute must) was about a 30 min drive away plus it would add another 20 min to my husbands work place with traffic. But other than that we have a wonderful stay, staff was amazing, & the hotel was super clean. [Less]

My stay at the hotel was excellent not only for the front office staff, Miranda and Jesse, it was also terrific for the work ethos demonstrated by the kitchen staff(Lana and Nicki) Cleaning the [More] dining area left dirty by guests, cleaning my table even while i was eating(taking away my trash). Just impressive and plenty of food. Housekeeping made sure that my room was clean and stacked with towels. Terrific job by this hotel and staff [Less]
Holiday Inn Express Opelousas, LA

This hotel is always pleasant. The coffee in the front lobby is fresh and honestly the best I've ever tasted. The only trouble is that the other Holiday Inn Express spoil you to the free breakfast [More] in the mornings, and that isn't available at this property. The restaurant does an exceptional job, but I never remember to allow enough time to eat before getting started for the day. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I didn't use the pool area, but it looked extremely clean. [Less]

Truly the nicest people I have ever dealt with at a hotel, but the staff misses the small stuff. Restaurant is small, the bar looks cluttered, the staff disappears for long stretches, and I don't [More] think my room was ever cleaned the same way twice in a week.
