This hotel exceeded my expectations for what I planned to be just a clean place to stay. I stay at HIExpress for predictable consistency in the room, relative price and amenities. They always [More] deliver. What was unexpected was that the staff was so very helpful in helping me sort out additional rooms for family and friends coming in town for a funeral, and helping me get rooms located where possible by compatible family groups and friends. (Some family works well together, others not so much!) They were also helpful in making sure I felt safe after I had been chased down by some random guy with road rage, helped me track down some rags to clean a gravesite for another relative, and let me use the breakfast area tables to put together a set of pictures in frames to display at the funeral. Their kindness and sympathy touched me and certainly eased my way. I'm very grateful! [Less]

Old but a great view

The rooms were very old, the view saved it though. You can see the Arch right from the window. The A/C In the room could not be turned down or off, spent most of the night freezing. The overall [More] experience was not bad, but for the price I believe they should modernize the rooms a bit. They look like they've been that way since the 70's. Some of the sheets were unclean as well. [Less]
