A representative stay at a HEX
By adricornell
It is literally 5 minutes away from the airport, so if you have an early flight, it is ideal. The shuttle to and from is reliable as well and didn't take more than 10 minutes to arrive. Continental [More] breakfast starts at 4, which is a good touch, considering it's location, but one downside is that they don't offer to go bags, which, quite frankly, most people with a super early flight would prefer above wasting time eating in the hotel when they could be sleeping! The beds were a little soft for my liking but fine, the room was an ok size for one person and including a small sofa, which I liked. Outlets were decently available, so no issue there. They don't have any bathtubs in the hotel, which was a bit of a bummer for me. Although they have a 24 hour menu, all of the really good warm foods are only available from 5 to 945pm! All in all, it was a decent stay. [Less]

Stylish and comfortable hotel in a convenient location

Hotel Indigo in Edinburgh is in a great location, next to the tram stop for the airport/Princes Street and within easy walking distance to the railway station and city centre amenities. It is a [More] stylish hotel in several converted Georgian houses. The rooms, although quite small, are comfortable and distinctive. I always get a good night's sleep at Hotel Indigo and enjoy all the luxuries (Aveda toiletries, i newspapers etc). The staff are always helpful and make me feel personally welcome. [Less]
