Speedy service, clean, friendly staff, good value
By Lakey49
As a regular business traveler I spend a lot of time in hotels. This was my first visit, have booked up for the next 2 months. [Less]
Great location and Affordable price
By Kapernick
I was very satisfied with my stay at Holiday Inn Express-Edinburgh Centre. I was able to take the tram from the airport to the Hotel which was convenient and affordable. The room was comfortable and [More] the bed and pillows comfortable. The only issue was the room was slightly cooler than I wanted. I could not get the temperature to rise. I really appreciated the front desk checking me earlier than 3 pm because I arrived in Edinburgh at 6:30 am and felt very tired. The price and quality of the room was excellent. [Less]

Very nice hotel for a city trip
By Easy74
The hotel was perfect for our little city trip and to attend a concert in the Usher Hall. The staff were very friendly and even pointed out the most interesting sites to visit in town and how to get [More] there. The breakfast buffet was quite rich with a lot of choice. Generally everybody was attentif and ready to help. Very well done! [Less]
oasis in a storm

High praise for the staff in this hotel. We arrived late and received a very warm welcome. Prior to arriving I experienced a problem with my printer and contacted the hotel to ask if they could let [More] me use printing facilities there, They asked me to email the documents to them and they would have them ready for me on arrival. How wonderful is that! That removed a lot of stress for me. The lady responsible for this was Aggi. Thank you. during our stay I discovered I needed an extension on a room as I was needed to return for an interview late in the afternoon. The hotel allowed me an extension of two hours which was very much appreciated as it was a cold and miserable day outside. My room was very cold during the night, but this is Scotland in wintertime after all, but little bit more heat would have been good. Overall, fantastic staff made this visit speical. Thank you all very much. [Less]
Centrally located, Good Clena Branded Hotel
By Banya
Stayed here a few times and it remains consistent, the rooms are clean and comfortable, although slightly overpriced, but that is Edinburgh. The breakfast could be better, and as a resident it is [More] worth noting the Bar only operates from 1200 to 2359 so a little bit poor when visiting with friends and want to avoid the crowed pubs. Frequent visitor

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn on a number of occasions when visiting Edinburgh. We particularly like the location which always offers a great undisturbed night's sleep and great choice of foods [More] for a hearty breakfast. Although there is a bus stop just across the road with plenty of buses heading straight for the centre of Edinburgh, in good weather it is an enjoyable walk into the city, especially if you feel the need to walk off that breakfast! Great one night stay.
By jt1976
One night stay in a mini suite. Arriving at reception we had originally booked a standard room but were offered a mini suite upgrade for £15 which we took and were not disappointed with! Water, [More] chocolate, extra gourmet coffee and tea, bathrobes and slippers all thrown in. Room had a bedroom area and a living area with sofa and second tv which was great. Only negative thing is the standard internet wasn't the best and you have to pay extra to get the fast net even if you are a rewards club member! [Less]
Simply Excellent
By Longhair
This was my first stay at this particular Holiday Inn and I was impressed. Everything from checking in to checking out was fantastic. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful, courteous and [More] professional, the room was immaculate, comfortable and quiet which made for a great nights sleep. Although a little distant from the city centre it is handy for the airport and it suited my purpose. I would not hesitate to reccomend this hotel and look forward to returning should I be lucky enough to be in the area. [Less]
