Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good overall experience We especially liked the room we were allocated. It was quiet, clean and the bathroom was spotless. The decor of the hotel was very pleasing to the eye. Check in staff very efficient and helpful. Think the bar area could be made to be more 'cosy' and specific rather than the feeling of being stuck in the middle of seating. Very convenient location - especially being next to the train which serves Cambridge. Would visit again, and again!! May 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable beds, poor facilities Manager rude and unhelpful. Staff in general very polite and helpful.Room decor nice but basic. Plumbing needed an overhaul. No where to hang anything, no mirror over dressing table or seat to sit on at dressing table. Food nice but very expensive for what it was. April 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very nice stay On the whole very good quality room, just let down by the very low quality repair to the door lock. Bed very comfy and slept very well. Air con worked well as I like a cool room for sleeping. Slight noise from the train station but didn't really bother me through the night. Bathroom lighting could do with improvement as it was very dark. Internet was very slow. April 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely Weekend This hotel is in an excellent location, to access Cambridge by train. The room was large and clean and the bathroom was clean with a large shower. The breakfast was fine and there were several options to choose from. The staff were particularly excellent and were very helpful on several occasions. This was our second stay and I would book again if in the area. April 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hidden gem Aside from the sat-nav taking me down a dead end, the Holiday Inn at Duxford is a hidden gem. A recently built hotel the rooms are very nice, brilliant en-suite, shame about the small tv. Next door is the Red Lion, which unlike a lot of pubs next to hotels serves freshly made food, excellent choice, very tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. April 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bett zu weich, Frühstücksbuffet wenig Auswahl Wir waren mit 3 Personen in einem Zimmer. Die Betten, besonders das dritte, Sofabett, waren zu weich. Die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gering, das Essen war aber in Ordnung. Die Beleuchtung im Badzimmer war zu dunkel. Ansonsten war aber alles in Ordnung und sauber. April 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel, just beware of the trains Checked in to hotel and went up to room, opened door to find hat, shoes and clothes on the bed. Went back down to reception to be advised that someone must have allocated that room to someone else, was given a second room which wasn't a family room (it only had 2 single beds) so back down to reception and had to wait for another family room to be made up. I was very concerned that I had been given a key to s room that someone was already in. especially the security aspect. This also concerned me that someone else could be given a key to my room !! The rooms on the car park side are quiet but the family room we had overlooked the railway station and with a constant stream of trains stopping made for what we thought would be a noisy night but it wasn't and we all slept like babies.
