A relaxing experience

Thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of the Hotel & spaciousness of the rooms.
The most outstanding aspect of the Hotel is it's Executive Lounge which provides an excellent wind down venue from the day's[More] work or after participating in the many activities Singapore has to offer. Each evening we were more than well accommodated by the two Hostesses, Helena & Ena, who complimented the Lounge with their personalities & friendliness.
The inclusion of breakfast in our package was valuable however the Menu was unchanged during our stay -there should be some diversity.
Cleaning Staff were professional as were the Reception Desk & other welcoming Staff who were relentless in making our stay most enjoyable.
Would revisit & recommend.[Less]
Great location, Price and comfort
A nice hotel with great central location, Price and comfort.
There is a big Mall called Great World City 5 min walk away.
Hotel comes with free parking.
Getting around with public transport is fine[More] - due to centralized location.
However, breakfast is a little strange, I reserved hotel for 2 persons but received only one breakfast. I had to pay extra for wife.[Less]
The best airport hotel I have ever stayed
The place is so easy to access and is closer than walking to gates from terminal 3. Could not find an excuse to critique. I recommend it for any one that needs to stay near airport or short business[More] trip to Singapore.[Less]

Excellent Locaton in Singapore

I was given an upgrade which was great. I had chosen the Intercontinental Singapore due to it's proximity to the Raffles Hospital. The room was fantastic, the bed great and the gym everything I[More] needed. When you fly somewhere especially for hospital treatment it is really nice to have such great service. being gluten free I am used to boring cardboard tasting breakfasts - the breakfast in Singapore was fantastic, varied and tasty!

Great customer service - staff was the definition of personalised care!
I recently had to make some last minute travel to Singapore for work. I didn't think it would be a problem until I had tried all the company approved hotels and no rooms were available for my entire[More] stay. Finally I decided to compramise and go with the Intercontinental which had 3 out of the 4 nights available. I figured it wouldnt be that tough to find a room for the missing night.
There must have been some major conference going on since despite trying 10 different hotels I couldn't find a room. I became a regular fixture at the Singapore Intercontiental front desk checking to see if a room for my missing night had been found. No fault of the hotel but the entire city was completely booked.
I big thanks to front desk employee Josiah and his manager who, despite everything was able to find me a room. Kudos to the hotel for not only finding me a room but also ensuring I didn't have to change rooms multiple times. They accomplished this by upgrading me to a higher level suite and letting me stay in the suite for the entire stay.
Personal thanks to Josiah who was very helpful and not only went out of his way to find me a room, but also was available the numerous times I had questions about the local area. I am not sure if I should be thanking him though, since thanks to his excellent shopping advice I bought more things than I was planning! Thank you!
On the service note, one more story and thank you to unnamed Intercontinental staff member, the tailor! I sent my blazer down for ironing and got a phone call from the housekeeping staff asking me if I wanted my buttons changed! They noticed that a few of my jacket buttons were broken and replaced all buttons with a matching set! Small things like this are great for creating customer satisfaction and a memorable stay.
