I am a Spire Elite member so have stayed my fair share at IHG prooerties. The staff was very cordial and inviting, and the propert is new so it had very cozy beds and clean amenities. I usually stay
at the Clovis location, but they were full, so I booked a room for 2 nights for work here.
Every IHG offers different ammenities as they are all franchised. This one was one if the rareities to offer a free beer/wine service from 5-7pm (I think?) during certain days of the week. No, you cannot get drunk and crazy or you will be cut off permanently, but it us a very nice touch, especially when you had a long road trip for work and have to put in some extra computer time at tge end of the day.
The host I had, Sierra, was wonderful. She was super pleasant and personable. If you want to take advantage of this complimentary service, please be sure you bring cash for hostess/host tips. I didn’t kniw this was available and had almost no cash on me when I arrived, but Sierra was very deserving of a tip.
The only thing that really sucked about this location was the noise. Right smack in the middle of a freeway and railroad tracks. I use earplugs and could still hear all the outside noise. But the location was great for my needs, had plenty of food options nearby, a Starbuck’s in the same lot, and was easy to get to/from where I needed to go.
The only thing preventing me from re-booking is the outside noise. It makes it hard for me to weigh between good customer service and good sleep quality when I have extended stays. [Less]
