Don’t leave without embarking on one of the many breathtaking tours! We're a great launching point for rafting trips, scenic jeep rides and helicopter and airplane tours of the Grand Canyon's southern rim.

The South Rim of the Grand Canyon has amazing viewpoints, free shuttle buses, hiking trails for people of all abilities, and guided tours. Sunrise and sunset are amazing photo opportunities – bring your camera! The IMAX Theater just down the street from the hotel has a three story screen – the movie gives you an eagle’s eye view of the canyon as you soar above and below the rim.

Pick up a Grand Canyon Activity Planner at the hotel Front Desk for information on area activities including hiking above & below the rim, bicycle tours, mule rides along the rim, the Desert Watchtower, Kolb Studio, & museums in the park. An airtour in a helicopter or airplane is once-in-a-lifetime experience. Jeep tours & horseback tours take you through the Kaibab Forest.

It's easy to get around Grand Canyon National Park with the park's free shuttle bus system. The Village Route is available throughout the entire year and the Tusayan Route with pick up across the street from the hotel is available from mid-May to mid-Sept. For cyclists, every bus has a bike rack.
