Lishui holiday express

- Rooms are ok, clean, normal size for an holiday inn express
- Service and staff is also ok
- Price is quite high compared to surrounding hotels with better rooms and breakfast
The main problem of this hotel is the breakfast. The choice of food is really limited and doesnt match the price. Compared to most holiday inn express (liyang, nanjing, handan, zhengzhou), this one is the worst of them.
I have already told the hotel staff several times as I am a regular customer but no change until now

入住很愉快,前台妹子们服务态度也很好。早饭很棒,现煮处还有鸭血粉丝汤。唯一就是酒店烘干机的价格收费过高。

Very pleasant stay at this HIE in Lishui, Nanjing. Very new, wonderful modern decor that is very pleasing to the eye. Rooms, beds, all very comfortable and clean. Location in Lishui's up and coming new town center (I think that's a fair description) quite nice. Not a lot of restaurants right close by, but breakfast inside was great. Very very good coffee (espresso -- good machine, good beans). During COVID times, domestic travel inside China is when I try to stay at Western chains to make up for not traveling internationally, and each HIE that I stay at rarely disappoints me.
2 problems none were addressed

There is no issues with the establishment itself, the location is convenient and hotel was clean, everything you need from a no flair stay. The two problems I encountered was not resolved to any degree by the staff. The rooms facing north were super cold, and it’s colder in the rooms then even outside. I the AC wasn’t turned on, I get that it’s Center air. I requested to be changed to a south side facing room, the front desk delayed my request for the first night and informed me that they will have the maintenance staff turn on the AC. The next morning I checked with the front desk about the AC they said they can’t turn it on without providing much of a reason, fine. Ive again asked to be switched to a south facing room. They said they would inform me when one was available, 2 nights go by and nothing. I approached the front desk about it again, they made some excuses, and by that time the weather was warm again. The other problem was my car kept kept getting door dings, and this isn’t the staffs fault, but the manner the staff denied responsibility was very unprofessional. At least offer to help with security cameras or offer to allow me to park closer to the office, etc
